Happy holidays @frog-ghouls !
I was your secret Santa this year, I loved these prompts so much I had to draw them both. I had a lot of fun using the black velvetopia colors, it's one of my favorite levels, hope you enjoy!

During the summer I had the great opportunity to participate in a Weber State University study abroad program in Japan. I have always wanted to go and this study abroad program finally made it possible.
I've been studying Japanese for a while and being there in person and having real interactions with native speakers was incredibly helpful in developing my conversational skills.
One of my favorite parts had to be traveling through the beautiful countryside on my way to Niigata for volunteering at the Fuji Rock festival.
As I traveled I kept a visual diary, drawing landscapes, little critters and whatever else stood out to me. I've also included some pictures I took.
