Tonight’s Royal Rumble
What happened in the 30-Man Over-the-rope spectacular was clearly scripted. Everybody saw it coming. I expected it, but didn’t bet that way. Triple H returned at #30, and wins it all, and becomes a 14 time world champion. Very expected, and will likely result in HHH vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 32.
My prediction was a three-fold thought. Either Roman overcame the odds once again, or one of the Wyatts win. That could have went two ways. One was that all 4 Wyatt family members are left, and they allow their leader to become champion, or Erik Rowan rebels and takes them all out. I say that because Rowan is the one that has gotten the least amount of attention out of all four of them. Inadequacy leads to rebellion. So, that was my idea, although it was clear the plot in mind.
I was surprised to see AJ Styles finally making it onto the scene. He had a great debut, eliminating 2 superstars and lasting over 20 minutes in the Rumble. I definitely can’t wait to see where the writers take him. Hopefully, all going up, and even giving him a title opportunity. I would like to see him take on the new US Champion first, but I could actually expect him to be booked to go after the Intercontinental title first.
But about the other matches, too. The night started with the Last Man Standing match, which I could only assume Dean Ambrose would win. He did, 1 point for me. This was followed by the tag team championship match, which clearly only the New Day could win, and did. 3 points for me, -1 because that point was a unicorn, and another -1 because it was booty. Then the US Championship match. Kalisto was the real underdog tonight, winning the rubber match. I’m gonna give Kalisto my two points, just for his hard work. The Diva’s title match was a no brainer, Ric Flair. No points for a tagalong pops. The only match I couldn’t expect something from was the qualifier match on the preshow. But it made me think that Jack Swagger and Mark Henry would make one hell of an all-American tag team.
Anyway, I can expect a lot here in the future, but congrats to Triple H and Kalisto for becoming new champions tonight.
One thing I want to rant about is Roman Reigns. He’s being pushed too much, especially from the top. I’m going to expect him to be a 3-time world champion by the end of April. Whether this happens or not may not be clear, but I know he’s gonna get another push. He’s become the replacement for John Cena, since his career is about to wind down. I find this very ridiculous, because he may be good and all, but he doesn’t need to be poked and prodded at by the Authority. That’s how it’s been for the last year. He was challenged for his spot in the main event by Daniel Bryan, he gets his title shot stolen by Seth Rollins’ Money in the Band briefcase, Roman’s Money in the Bank shot ruined by Bray Wyatt, and then he gets shoved into a rivalry with him, and the reformed Wyatt family lasting for 4 months. Once he escaped that, he finally gets his title push, which is ruined by a Rollins injury, so he gets pushed down again. He gets another push into the tournament at Survivor Series, which he won the title, but got pushed back down by Sheamus’ Money in the Bank briefcase. Boy, Roman’s 2015 sure was dictated by Money in the Bank, huh? Then he’s pushed down again at TLC, in which he goes bat shit crazy. Then he gets a push on Raw, where he finally defeats Sheamus, but then is thrown into another loop of challenges. Which brings us to this Battle Royal title match, which he inevitably lost. These next few months needs to be his final push for a while, he needs a break from the spotlight.
So, that’s enough of my ranting. Good night everyone, and I hope you enjoyed the PPV

I’m a huge fan of UK Basketball, so getting this result tonight is good for two reasons.
1. UK is on a roll similar to last year
2. I can beat up my friend Cody, who is a Duke fan.
GO CATS!!!
