A version of Bruce where his parents were killed by The Monk, a vampire, and Bruce was infected. But Alfred saved him before it got worse only slightly turning Bruce.
Years later the Germans (ww1) have managed to cross the sea to America with crime rising in his city he takes the streets using all the knowledge he gained from Alfred.
Another change is Alfred was a vampire hunter.
Justice League Beyond
In my previous post I highlighted some characters that I believe would make for a good McGinnis family story and now I’m going to highlight who I would put in a Justice League Beyond, please note that I combined future state and Batman beyond media.
The Trinity
My preferred trinity would be obviously be Terry McGinnis and to match the old justice league have a super and Wonder Woman be the founding force.
While I could go for Ronan Kent I like Rowan Kent more and find her far more interesting
The second member of the trinity I would add would be Yara Flor
If I were to be in control of a run involving the future of dc this is who I would pick
Other members
Other members off the top of my head would be characters like Ronan Kent and Theand’r Ban El (Superman and Superwoman)
Other key member would be Andrina “Andy” Curry or Aquawoman along with Alinta which is a Flash
Of course I’d add Rex Stewart or Warhawk along with Micron and Gold Beetle to this lineup
There’s also background characters like Red Tornado Beyond and other incarnations of characters that are more like Batman Beyond taking up the legacy some connected others not so much.
McGinnis Family
Wanted to share my McGinnis family stuff so far
Obviously the main man himself is Terry and he’s in a similar situation to Bruce if not exactly the same.
My ideal Terry is that he’s an excessive adopter like Bruce who the kids just find him and he ends up adopting them some cases they want it others they don’t (we’ll get to that)
If I was in charge of writing Terry I would change his backstory to instead of being done in secret have Warren know that was the goal for Terry to become Batman a man for the greater good if you would. And he knew that Terry had Bruce’s dna but also since this is the future I think that Terry should have Bruce, Warrens and his moms dna.
Up next is Bruce who is more in a Alfred role, personally I think he would turn into a more grandfather role and while he can’t cook as well as Alfred he would be in a position to give out life advice and really many other roles Alfred filled out.
Matt McGinnis is a great start as a Robin for Terry and while I don’t think DC is ready for him to move past it quite yet I would love to see him take on his own identity when he’s ready to get away from Terry’s shadow.
And just like Bruce in the early days he thinks it’s terrible but thanks to Bruce having gone through that he can lead Terry and Warren into a better situation than he found with Dick.
Another headcanon is that he becomes Nightrunner or some other similar name.
Carrie Kelley is the first to be adopted by Terry whether it be through time travel shenanigans and she is trapped in the future or is simply born there I think the dynamic between the two would be great
She would start off as Robin Beyond like most of Terry’s kids but would eventually grow out of it and become a daylight hero either named Greenstart or Headstart.
To me she would be more like the Duke of the McGinnis family.
The second to be adopted by Terry is Mia Mizoguchi.
She would start off as Robin Beyond as well before moving onto a new identity something like Oriole.
The third to be adopted by Terry would be Lance Bruner. In my mind he’s the youngest and is still Robin Beyond
The fourth to be adopted is Nissa, though she’s more reluctant than the others. Think of her as the sort of Red Hood of the family.
She didn’t start off as Robin Beyond instead starting at Batgirl Beyond.
Though she does eventually come to love Terry and the rest of the family I imagine it’s a long process.
Fifth to be adopted by Terry is Turner Hayes. As far as I know he’s only had one appearance in a show. So I really didn’t know what to do with him quite yet so this idea is very fresh.
In a similar sort of vain to Nissa he doesn’t start off as Robin Beyond instead starting off as Lost Son, a jack-o’-lantern themed Batman with moving eyes around his suit to distract thugs.
I have to watch Gotham Knights to further understand his character.
I’m considering Drake Winston for the family as another adopted kid of Terry but so far I haven’t made any moves yet.
Maxine Gibson if I was in charge would become Oracle Beyond a person in chair working alongside Bruce to help Terry.
But that’s what I got for now I might go in more depth on their relationships and may do a sort of justice league lineup of who I want Terry to work with.

Turner Hayes - Lost Son (beyond)
Just found about Turner Hayes and was surprised to see he was created around 2023.
This is my take on him since the bat family is already kind of full I gave him to Terry instead of Bruce.
I’m still debating if he was once a Robin or not. I’m thinking he may have been a part of the jokers before turning to Terry.
His suit is more jack-o’-lantern based with glowing orange accents and creepy eyes that drift around the body catching thugs attention long enough for him to get a surprise attack in.

Part of an Au I’m working on where instead of modern day most of the events happen during ww1. What’s happening in the picture is basically the us army propaganda as at this point the Germans had managed to invade America.
This versions backstory: Set during WW1 Clark witnesses his childhood friend Pete Ross die the incoming German Invasion, with a blood stained uniform as his reminder for his inaction he becomes what the people need a symbol of hope.

Alfred walked into the room, practically all of the kids crying, with a simple tap of a button a whole slew of files appeared. “Do try to compose yourselves before Master Bruce returns.” he left a tray of food shaking his head. “Let this serve as a lesson to all of you not to snoop.”
Barbara looked at the files still rubbing her eyes. “Looks like the Justice League next…”
Terry looked up from his phone. “Go for it, I've read those files and he doesn't get too emotional on them.”
A silent agreement shines in their eyes as they tried to clear their eyes watching Bruce critique other heroes.

“JL001: Superman,” Bruce typed onto the computer. “Also known as Clark Kent, a journalist in Metropolis. We have been working together for a few years now, it’s honestly hard to believe how it started.”
“Back in the early days before the Justice League the Germans had made staggering progress, I was busy cleaning up Gotham but on the front lines a man of steel appeared, his super strength serving as a beacon for hope to the soldiers.”
“With his help and the help of other heroes they were able to push back the Germans giving the allies some breathing room, but then suddenly he comes to me inviting a number of heroes to form an alliance.”
Bruce paused, scratching his chin. “The idea seemed idiotic to me at the time. I worked at my best alone, and the fact that out of all of them I felt the most out of place.”
“But despite myself I reluctantly agreed not out of respect to the idea but to knowing that contingencies needed to be created for these people.”
“I won’t deny it was difficult at first. I wasn't used to working with a team but Superman soon grew into a stable friend and it made working with the Justice League more easier, now I cannot imagine a world without Superman.”

La Pesadilla- Batwoman of Zamora/Mexican Batwoman
Origin: La Pesadilla inspired by Hipolito Mora Chavez and Batman sets out to clean the streets of Zamora from the cartels to the thugs in the backstreets.
Wanted to do something for Hispanic heritage month and settled on making a Batman incorporated character. Based on the Mexican free tailed bat, I also looked up Mexican non lethal weapons and came across Byrna’s non lethal guns so I gave her those.
Personality wise I would say she is a mix of Hipolito, Bruce, and Jason.
I might give her a cape later but I can’t decide if she would look good with one or not.

Basically what I think Legionary first started looking like when he first started copying Batman.
I don’t know why this character makes me feel so sad. As I ponder it I think it’s because I think he started off at such a good place, but got lazy and started to use his fame for all the wrong purposes not only letting himself go, and to me it’s so realistic that it just makes me sad.
