“sheesh, they do? good to know-- now i can hopefully avoid that in the future.” rocket’s face twisted in disgust. “organization don’t matter. chaos makes it harder for people to take advantage of you.”

the mention of groot made him tense a bit, hands meeting in front of his chest and eyes diverting. “yeah, thor’s not half bad. i don’t run with anyone no more either-- or i guess i kinda do now. the avengers happened. it ain’t the same though.” after a moment he paused and then straightened up. “valkyrie. scrapper. nice to know.”
