Oh of course we are, yes. {‘rolls his eyes, smiling a little} Most vampires from my line have the muscles of a body builder, they’re the fighters, really. Me on the other hand, I’m more of a stealth kind of guy. {‘raises an eyebrows and shoots him a look} People said that about puppies, but I still hate them. Kittens, they’re not so bad. {‘scoffs} Please tell me I do not need to call you master from this point on.

Fighting is only an option once words no longer have power. So no, I don’t care for it. {‘glances down at himself} For a vampire, I’m still on the small side, I’m the brain to the world’s brawn, really. Is there something wrong?" Hannibal always knows. Hannibal always finds out. That’s how his world revolved and nothing could falter his orbit. Slowly, the very corners of his lips curved upwards. A smile, perhaps? It looked cynical, damn near maniacal if you asked anyone else but that was because he didn’t normally smile, and only wanted to seem more approachable. that was if he wanted to get closer to the other and get to know him. "I am from Lithuania, hence my ‘unusual’ name. You know, it isn’t nice to say someone’s name is unusual. It’s not polite."

 "That's a useful ability, being able to read expressions. They'll tell you more than anybody ever will." Minhyuk knew a lot about reading people. After over one hundred years of travelling, it wasn't surprising he'd taken to observing, rather than interacting. Humans believed they were crafty, that they were able to deceive. But Minhyuk knew better, and apparently so did Hannibal. "Not polite.....yes, of course, that's right, how rude of me." He chuckled lowly and shook his head. The smile he was given reminded him of his own. Smiling had never really been his forte, he'd never had much to smile about. "Lithuania, a beautiful country, or at least it was the last time I traveled through it. That was.....a while ago." fifty years? more or less. He smiled, eyes turning into crescent moons.

In all honesty, Hannibal, is a very patient person. But everyone’s patience runs out. It’s not often that it does but because he was wary of the other, that it put his hard drive into over-time in exchange made his data base enter a critical mode. It wouldn’t be exactly safe if he stayed so he stored away the information he had from the current meeting into one of the more important files in his databank to be examined when he went home and plugged himself into his computer. He rose an inquisitive brow, head tilting off to the other side as he listened to the male. The name was familiar, but he’d met many of people, so it was useless to put a name with a face- even if he was capable of it. “Minhyuk. It is nice to meet you, Minhyuk. I am.. Hannibal.”

Hannibal? One letter away from cannibal... "That's an unusual name." Minhyuk muttered. Not exactly the name he'd expected, but then again if there was one thing the twenty-first century had taught him, it was to expect the unexpected. "Care to to explain why you were staring at me, Hannibal?" He shoved his hands into his jacket, fingers fiddling with his phone to give them something to do. He felt strangely on edge, a less than desirable state for a vampire to be in. "I highly doubt you were drawn in by my classic charm and refined aura." Perhaps he wanted to eat his flesh- he'd be in for a big surprise if he did, vampire blood was like acid to humans- assuming this guy was a human. He cleared his throat, eyebrows furrowing at his own irrational thoughts.

Minhyuk doesn't use his teeth to feed (hence the lack of prominent fangs). Instead, he uses his sharp nails to make small incisions, then drinks what he needs. He never kills the people he drinks from. Draining somebody of blood would be like a human devouring a whole pig.[ ps. the vampires in the darren shan saga are significantly different to the typical dracula myth]
