Lev had his herding instincts activated in class. He was almost naughty but listened to me so that was good. We were doing drop on recalls together, like simultaneously side by side.

He was running with a male poodle and started out fine, then realized the poodle was coming up behind him and he was like OH and tried to turn around and missed my drop signal and was too focused on the poodle. My trainer and I both said ok let’s pair him w someone else.

So second run we went with a really sweet older male golden. Lev decided this was the new game and tried to get in front of the golden, who was like uhh what’s happening?! And I downed him as soon as he started to turn around and he did drop immediately.

My trainer goes “see he can drop quickly when he wants to!” I was like I fucking KNOW ugh lmao this dog. If only I could get him to drop like that when he’s running at me alone!
