This reminds me, if y'all haven’t heard of therapyforblackgirls.com please visit if you need a therapist. You can search by mental health need, location/distance, insurance, etc. I believe there are some that provide a sliding scale payment method for those without insurance.

If you’re not quite ready to make the jump, there is a podcast you can listen to as well as articles and links to help answer some of your questions about mental health and/or therapy.

The purpose, as I understand it, is to provide a place where black women can go to find culturally sensitive therapy. Some specialize in family/couples as well.

with the tags and search officially being completely broken on all platforms (no new posts are showing up in them anymore), now feels like a good time to remind everyone that the only way to help creators is to reblog their stuff. even before the tags were busted most people found new creators through their content being rebloged onto their dash, and now, at least for the time being, that will be the Only way to find and spread things.

Fast reblog is a thing, you dont have to leave comments, you dont have to leave tags, just reblog stuff if you want to keep seeing new content being posted to this site.

and as a final note, with this change likes are officially completely pointless for content creators. up till now they served to boost a posts placement in the tag searches (a post tagged #girl with 40 likes would show up higher in the search than a post tagged #girl with only 10 likes,)

thinking about how troy and abed confess their love to each other in a zombie disaster with a perfectly placed movie quote and how sometimes i (an autistic person) end up using direct quotes to say what i mean (except for it doesnt always come across well and how han solo (never seen star wars is that the right guy?) is mostly just being a snarky jackass (affectionate) but abeds brain does not work that way!! and yeah by this point hes learned that "i love you" means you say "i love you too" but TROY knows that abed doesnt work that way!!!! and abed canbe himself and profess his love through an homage to an iconic scene from his favorite movie series (in addition to sacrificing himself to the zombies) and thinking about how an "i love you too" would have been all well and good but really its more important to troy that abed reassures he knows troy loves him because this is the only outright confession of love he might ever get and even though weve seen so much love between them troy needs to know that abed knows and just thinking about how trobed is perfect
