His parents have immigrated from Bangladesh to The United Kingdown back in the 1985 in order to give their 3 children a more stable lifestyle. They moved in with her mother's sister and her husband, who had already been living there since the 60s. The house was loud and crowded, but filled with love.
Five years later Romeo was born. Named after his mother (who had became a librarian at a local school) love for literature and theater. He was the most spoiled out of the 4 siblings, as when he was born his family was well-estabilished, with their own house in a better neighbourhood and a respectable reputation. Because of that, his parents showered him with everything they couldn't give their older children.
His mother dreamed of him becoming an actor, saying he had a special charm. She send him into audition after audition, hoping to make him a big star. Toothpaste commercials, school productions, small roles on TV movies. He had the background of a in the making child star. And he hated every second of it.
He landed a role on a off-Broadway, british production of The Secret Garden. A background character, nothing more, but it was his mom's proudest moment. He went with it for a few years, but as his teenage years came around, he started rebelling and refused to partake in what he called as "foolishness". He was too shy for this, hated how loud everything was and the stage make-up left him itching all over. His mom was heartbroken.
That created tension in the house. Everybody there knew what struggle looked like. They all had counted pennies for their next meal and wore socks that had been stitched into place more than once: except for Romeo. Romeo had piano lessons, big birthday parties and a new coat every winter.
So his refusal to follow his mother's dreams read as ungreatfulness. His uncle said he had been too spoiled. His siblings, who already would tease him for being too soft, made sure to let him know that they were disappointed. His father was more understanding, although he didn't vocalize anything that went against his wife's wishes.
While his mom wept for the lack of a spotlight on top of her son's head, Romeo found himself in the back of libraries studying art and literature. In the backstage, he would tell his mom years later after it has all been forgiven.
He always did well academically. His curious nature and observant ways drove him to it. He went to school for history and museum studies, which menaged to please his parents.
He moved to Aurora Bay not long after graduating and settled in just fine, becoming a well known resident of sorts, who knows the area through and through

✧ Passionate, excitable, sociable: Everything seems new and exciting to him. He gets overly excited when sharing information with others. And he loves doing so. He is a timid extrovert.

✧ The longer he stays in Aurora the more it i starting to vanish, but he still has a British accent.
✧ Although he hates being on the stage, he still loves musical theater, especially the classics. When you get to his house, expect posters of "Hello, Dolly" and "The Music Man" everywhere.
✧ He loves all animals. His house is basically a zoo at this point: 2 dogs, 1 cat, a turtle, 2 pet-snakes, 4 chickens. He even has an ant-farm he just recently started.
✧ Avid reader of all sorts of things. Poetry, novels, biographies. His favorite book is Maurice, and he is currently reading The Bell Jar and Yoko Ono's biography.
✧ When it comes to music he stays mainly with his showtunes and jazz and blues. His favorite musician is Ella Fitzgerald. He also loves 1970s folk music: Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan...expect a robust vynil collection upon entering his home.
✧ He is a vegetarian, but unthealthly so. He forgets to eat to often to be healthy about it.
