For anyone who is going "oh shit I need to buy CSP" (you're right), a few pieces of information for you:

There is a free trial

Black Friday is next week (Nov 25) and for the last few years they've done huge sales at that time

CSP Version 1 is single-purchase, not subscription. They are releasing V2 next year, which will have two options: A perpetual, single-purchase license for basic V2, or an optional monthly subscription for receiving new features on V2 while they build V3.

Any V1 purchased this year (2022) can be upgraded to the basic V2 perpetual license for free next year. If you purchased V1 before 2022, you will have to purchase the perpetual V2 license (or you can just keep using V1, they won't kick you off). ngl I hate subscriptions but this seems...reasonable. So just be aware that if you see any of that news flying around, that's what's up to the best of my own knowledge.
