a/n: completely self indulgent. i keep my room freezing 24/7
thinking about haikyuu men who have a love/hate relationship with your apartment. they love it because it’s so you, but hate how cold it is.
they can never go over to yours without sweats and a hoodie, hell, they often debate bringing over their own blanket because of how cold it gets. they love having your hands on them - but only if they’ve warmed up, either by holding hands, breathing on them, or even sitting in your fingers, so when you inevitably trail you fingers under their hoodie it doesn’t feel like an icicle on their bare skin.
they’re convinced that cuddles at your house are better though. often times holding you closer than normal to try and transfer body heat, with a blanket thrown over you. your place feels more homey then their own, reminding them of their parents house on cold nights, when the tea and hot chocolate taste just a bit better due to the frigidness outside.
they refuse to let you sleep with the window open, even though you claim the cold air is good for you. they go around and close all the windows as you change into your pajamas, before locking the window in your bedroom. they watch with fondness in their gaze as you bounce over to the bed shivering slightly as you climb onto the cold sheets, and they quickly follow.
the pillows are cold, and the blankets are slowly warming you both up as he pulls you close to him. he doesn’t even mind all to much as your freezing toes find his leg as you are both drifting off to sleep. he’d never tell you that he sleeps better at your apartment. you’d be convinced that the reason is because you kept it so cold all the time.
he’s convinced it’s just you.
