Mesopotamian girl sending clay tablets to her best friend who lives five city states to the west: what if..... Enkidu begot Gilgamesh with child?🤭
this was literally published in a polish-jewish studies journal by the polish government's institute of national remembrance
Am I illiterate or is each sentence making a brand new point and completely irrelevant to the one before it???
Like: yes, Polish nobles who owned towns/farmland often tried to attract Jewish settlement to fulfill intermediary roles between the nobility and the peasantry (tax collectors, tavern keepers, land overseers, etc.) and as part of that, they permitted constructing houses of worship. Sure. When revolts happened they were of course, nowhere to be found, and perfectly happy to let the Jews act as punching bags for peasant frustrations. But I digress.
Nothing in that sentence points to “an unwavering recognition by Christian theologians” of Jews being super holy? Being okay with Jews building small houses of worship on your land is not tolerance, it’s a recognition of usefulness.
And then the last sentence veers so far left it’s on another continent. Is the author trying to say that any medieval anti-Jewish violence was nothing compared to the Holocaust? And what violence, considering Poland was apparently a haven where the feudal nobility apparently loved and protected the Jews?
| :/ | That’s me falling toward a spike | | pit, with kind of an air of irritation |↑↑↑↑↑↑| about it. Sighh
Maybe...... Just maybe...... The stereotypes are harmful, and Israel didn't rig shit they just had a good song. Not everything is a fucking conspiracy or a distraction
I don’t understand this “isntreal is ruining eurovision by making it political!” business. Do you think cyrpus always votes for greece because they just reallyyyy love their music? Do the eastern european countries vote for each other because they all sing at a special register that works as a slav siren song?
I adore eurovision, truly, but let’s be real - most the songs are interchangeable second-rate euro pop songs with a few oddballs sprinkled in (finland ty for always sending a death metal band).
So I do believe that some people voted for Israel just because it was Israel; that’s literally what people do - vote for the country, not the song.
I also don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist on main but being from russia and knowing how they operate, there are…some concerning links between bulgaria’s entry and russia. NOT saying there’s any outright cheating, it’s just a littleee weird.
Lmao the level of brainrot to be conflicted on reading a book cause there is a jew in it
I guaran-fucking-tee all these booktok girlies creamed themselves over H*ated R*valry though
Why? Cause there is a Russian in it and all russians are like that, huh?
Also I never wanna see coward asterisks if you’re not brave enough to tolerating hate comments and death threats from deranged heated rivalry fans then dont type the text
Bet you say unalive as well
First of all, my family is ukrainian jewish and I was born and spent my childhood in russia so please put your pitchfork down.
It’s just that these past few months it’s been really fucking upsetting, seeing the exact same people who slobber all over russian characters with no issues treating the mere word “israeli” as if it’s poison, or israelis like they’re non-human. And when challenged, going “well it’s different because russia never committed ethnic cleansing or genocide!” basically a double-punch of anti-israeli racism and denial of russian imperialism.
That’s what I’m trying to get at, that no one is inherently evil based on where they were born. But the topic gets me absolutely vibrating with rage because it’s so personal, so perhaps I didn’t go about expressing it in the right way.
You’re right though, I should not have asterisked Heated Rivalry. I have some Ukrainian followers that I have seen asterisk Heated Rivalry because they don’t want to see its content, but I now realize that if they have the words Heated Rivalry blocked my asterisking will evade it. So if it results in westerners with zero knowledge or ties to russia or ukraine coming over to call me russophobic, пожалуйста, it’s annoying but I’ll deal.

If the Jewish people could create a time machine there are so many other things they would do with it than something like this or burying their temple underneath a mosque.
The jews planned 9/11 34 years in advance and left us clues like they were a scooby-doo villain lol
“Ok fine, you may have debunked this conspiracy theory, but that’s not gonna stop me from believing in the thousands of other even dumber conspiracies about how israel is behind everything”
Me, straddling his lap: I'm kinda nervous. like idk ive never done this before

Maybe this is too far but I think every Crimean Tatar on Earth should be flown to LA so they can all kick him in the nuts until his balls pop.
For the Westerners who don’t know: during soviet times, Crimean Tatars were subject to forced deportation and replaced with ethnic slavs to make the region more loyal to the USSR. Then in 2014, russia occupies Crimea, and over a million Crimeans, both Tatar and non, flee, causing the biggest internally displaced population in the world at the time. russia replaces them with loyal russians via a planned settlement program, to make the region more “loyally russian.”
USSR/russia commits textbook ethnic cleansing and these fucking genocidal blood and soil chuds are like, “no this is the Indigenous Land of the proud Russian Slav”

Russian living in nyc who constantly pleads leniency for Russians invading Ukraine btw
Their blog title (peace to ukraine, freedom to russia) tells you everything you need to know
Today (24/02/26) marks four years since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In less than a month (18/03/26), it will be twelve years since Russia declared its illegal annexation of Crimea.
Russian imperialism is a neglected subject in the West. I would like to ask my fellow Westerners to take this chance, if you haven’t done so already, to learn about Ukrainian history, to make supporting Ukraine and opposing Russian imperialism one of your political priorities, and to take pro-Russian rhetoric seriously as the fascist apologism it is.
To that end, I’m going to share some of the resources that helped me to understand Russia’s war on Ukraine. Obviously I’m still far from an expert and this can never hope to be a comprehensive list, so this is just a handful of starting points.
The Making of Modern Ukraine – Lectures from a course on Ukrainian history at Yale University, available on Youtube or as a podcast. The reading list is available on Substack (although not the readings themselves.) This course is long but very worthwhile, and it's a less emotionally taxing option for those who find first-hand news coverage overwhelming.
20 Days in Mariupol – A documentary about the siege of Mariupol, in which Russia is thought to have killed at least 25,000 civilians and deported tens of thousands more. The true number is not yet known.
Stealing Ukraine’s Children – A short documentary about the kidnapping and indoctrination of Ukrainian children by Russia.
Mr Nobody against Putin – A documentary revealing the rapid growth of indoctrination and militarisation in a Russian school since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The same curriculum is used in occupied Ukraine.
There is also currently a lot of news coverage to mark the anniversary, for example by the BBC, the Guardian, and the Kyiv Independent.
If you’d like to donate to support Ukraine, you can find some summaries of the best ways to do so here:

The most widely recommended organisations are World Central Kitchen and United24, but smaller charities would also be grateful for your support.
If you’d like to get involved more directly, the best way to do so will depend on your location, but as an example, some ways to support Ukrainians from within the UK include:
The Ukrainian Welcome Centre – Supporting Ukrainian refugees in the UK, either directly or behind the scenes via web, IT and admin work. (Various locations or remote.)
Ukrainian Action – Collecting and delivering medical and humanitarian aid for Ukraine. (London or remote.)
TEFL UK – Teaching online English lessons for Ukrainian refugees in the UK and Ireland. (Remote.)
ENGin – Teaching online English lessons for Ukrainians within Ukraine. (International, remote.)
My love to all Ukrainians and everyone threatened by Russian aggression in Eastern Europe and beyond. Slava Ukraini 💙💛
