Gonna censor for spoilers for II s1-4 (no spoilers about ep6 tho dw) just for the heck of it if any new fans see this. But some random ramble thoughts turn to kinda predictions about s4 regarding who could win it.
Okay soā¦.I was curious if anyone else thinks this, but yāall think for s4 of II theyāre gonna still have a debut newbie win again or have someone else from a previous season win?
Because s2 and s3 both Suitcase and Cabby won their debut seasons. So it makes me wonder if like Poppy, Teddy, Spikey, Tapey, Jack, Magnet, Starfruit, Cammy, or MeTag(this one aināt happening sorry MeTag fans) will be this seasonās winner.
Alternatively if not a newbie, I think someone from s2 or s3 should win since I feel like theyāre stronger to have a story potential in going far into being a finalist.
I decided during typing this to make a tier list on who I think has potential to win or at least get to the final 5 for this season.
Okay after some time I think this is a potential possibility list of who can go far.
Eliminated- Yeah Iām sorry but I cannot see LB or Starfruit winning this season and even them coming back isā¦up in the air. Currently of the eliminated player outside of Jack, LB I think still has a chance to get back into the game. But even so I donāt think sheāll go far and at most might be put into the support role for someone else or remain that role for Starfruitās story.
Metag will be important for this seasonās story but I donāt see them coming back to the game. At most if they do, itās only for gaining points of helping out Poppy.
Premergers- This tier is a mixture of characters I see either having storylines that are important but wonāt have to be determined if theyāre still playing in the game or not. OR will have short arcs that will be completed before they get eliminated.
It is a bummer because I do think some like the cherries or goo getting a higher placement would be nice, but I canāt see anything going on for them to justify them making it that far.
Out of the newbies yeaaaahhhh Spikey seems the weakest to where I donāt see him lasting that long. And for Magnet I see her being eliminated and playing more of a role of trying to make things right with Pepper while assisting her during team phase.
I could be wrong, but this is just kinda my version for them.
Mergers- These are characters that I think will play importance for their own or others storylines during the game that will take longer than what I think will be for the premerger characters.
I think plots like Paperās friendship with Poppy, Taco improving upon herself + stuff regarding Mepad, Mic playing an honest game, Cheesy trying to be taken seriously, TK trying to play dirty and less motherly, and Lifering potentially being able to save someone will result in them lasting longer to complete these arcs.
Jack- Lol he gets his own section. With how it is currently in s4, Jack has 3 points and only 2 more to go for him to join back into the game. And seeing how heās playing as an eliminated contestant, ohohoho he is definitely making it far. Probably the same amount as Tapey will as I see them teaming up once heās properly back in the game. Along with a potential rivalry with Teddy since Jack was hurt by Teddy getting rid of him over one of the other players who already played the game before.
Buttttttā¦.I canāt see him winning this season Iām sorry. I think for his story it makes sense to see how far he goes in lengths, but itās eventually gonna crash and burn for him in terms how unhealthy trying to win the game is for him. I think at most him and Tapey will make it both far close to the final five, before being eliminated.
Like even if Jack makes it to the final 3, if theyāre doing another jury broā¦.he aināt winning it š
I WAS ALMOST THERE!- Okay so the tier where I think both Tapey and Box will go in. So far they both have shown potential in making it farther in their gameplay or relationships with other teammates. Box we know is kinda getting a small friendship or acquainted at least with Trophy who I think will make it to the final 5. I definitely want to see her make it far now that she isnāt a corpse anymore. But I donāt fully see her winning or the other picks I have might have more potential to show in the final.
Tapey on the other hand I can see going through an arc similar to Mic in s2 in realizing how she is playing isnāt right and I could see this either her quitting similarly to Microphone or being eliminated because of it.
I do think unlike Jack she still has the potential to realize this and perhaps play a more honest game knowing she isnāt playing maliciously on purpose. Alternatively if I am wrong, I could see her making it to the final 5 instead of Jack or Soap(my other pick), weāll have to see.
Eitherway I am living for her and Jackās future interactions.
Final 5 babyyyy- Alrighty my top picks for who Iām predicting/hoping makes it to final 5.
Starting with Poppy, they are definitely the most important contestant for this seasonās story. To which I could see them out of all the newbies ending up in the finale. Albeit only problem with Poppy is regarding their arc about their identity(being compared to Cobs), connection to Meeple/Corn lady, and earning everyoneās trust. I donāt know if Poppy being finalist or winning the season would be required for that.
None the less regardless of Poppyās placement in the game. Theyāre definitely going to try their hardest.
Second is my girl Candle! I think out of all the s3 contestants competing, sheās the one with the most potential to make it to final 5. Especially since we never got to see the timeline of what if she took the immunity cookie instead of Silver.
Plus we do know that it is confirm inner flame content will happen and be focused on soon. This paired with the fact Candle been kinda getting focus on the merch lately(being on the front of both the poster next to Poppy and the tour, along with having her own figure out), it might be hinting to a role in the story she could play.
Besides her inner flame being explored, I think the potential of exploring Candle post s3 is very interesting to where we can perhaps explore any insecurities she may still have or develop from her debut season. Along with how she bounces off her new teammates.
Iām still waiting/hoping they addressed how she based off her self worth during the competition on how helpful/useful she can be for them and then feeling thrown away when everyone was good without her. Like hello address me? š
I will say I donāt know if her winning would be satisfying for her arc for this season, but I think knowing how each winner of the past was able to grow and understand themselves well. This could be a good personal journey she can have.
Eitherway CANDLE AND THE INNER FLAME CONTENT SOON!!š„š„š„š„
Next we have Trophy, who so far been fun and interesting to see him play as he feels massively different from his s2 self. Knowing itās confirm he will have a big role to play this season makes me think weāll get to see him come into his own of becoming a good sport player(I think him and Jack could be foils).
Between him and my other s2 pick, I think he would be the best choice for a finalist. As for winning mmmm tbh I think him placing 2nd or 3rd might be better because by then, he mightāve grown from his core trait of a āsore loserā and takes not being first in stride. Be a good healthy development for him.
Up next is Teddy! I think what will cause her to make it far is a mixture of a rivalry with Jack, her overcoming her grief for Bell, and becoming a better person/game player to not let her anger control her.
Seeing her relationship with Teakettle and Taco so far has got me excited to see her character development further! While Iām not certain if she will or should win, I think by the end of the game her finding new bonds to cherish will be enough for a satisfying ending for Teddy.
And lastly my finale pick for who I think could be in final 5 is Soap! Albeit like in previous tiers I did say I could see her swapped out with someone like Jack or Tapey. But hear me out on Soap
I think she has like real genuine potential to get it far. Like she was kinda robbed during s2 knowing she got booted out thanks to both the viewer voting and if not that, you know Baseballās alliance wouldāve voted her out š
I always wondered how things wouldāve gone if theyād played similar roles or not if Soap was swapped with Microphone? Like what if Soap did play a dirtier game(pun intended)?
And this season has that answer. I think Soap could end up as a healthy balance of playing the game dirty, but not as malicious or selfish as someone like Jack or Tapey doing.
Perhaps I could see Soap tying into them knowing theyāre (along with TK currently) the players willing to do anything to get themselves closer to winning or not being taken out of the game.
Plus compare to her two besties Microphone and Taco, who both made it far in their respective games. I think it would be nice to give Soap that chance out of the trio to make it the farthest this time.
As for winning or being in the final 3, it just kinda depends on how her gameplay and arc goes.

Paper acts so different in IV because that isnāt paper. Itās paper and remaster looseleafās personalities combined because of the fusion.
Looseleaf is in IV in the same way paper isnāt. By that point, paper and looseleaf have been dead for years. Paper going forward is a different person, both paper and looseleaf combined. This is now my interpretation of IV paper, and you can pull in from my cold dead hands.
Technically my first II fanart! I wanted to draw my favs after I finished s2 and itās just basically the core bright lights + Yinyang(albeit he probably should kinda count after s3 giving him more focus).
