I have a confession to make...
I am terrified of driving.
My mom wants me to take a DMV test to get a learner's permit. I took it before online back in 2017 and got it then, but now I have to do it in person. She thinks if I have it, it'll lead to more job opportunities and higher pay. OK, it's not like I'm entirely terrified about driving, I'm just afraid of messing up, failing and being prone to car accidents if I don't know which way to turn, stop at a red light, etc. Plus, I see everyday on my way to work a damaged car parked in the corner and I wonder if that person is still alive & well, or if the car is still drivable.
IDK, maybe it's just me and I sound ridiculous, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to admit that to my mom. But on the other hand, if I drove, it would be easy transportation to just get where I need to go with no problems.
Thoughts?
Keeping an alive tumblr in 2026 is proof of one's sincerity and authenticity - a type of person who enjoys posting for the sake of it with absolutely nothing to be gained....just the enjoyment of curation and self expression untainted by opportunity and relevance
I swear, my oldest sister is like a detective. Every time when she visits home, she has a keeness to want to know everything that's going on with me. She was setting up storage on my new phone and she was confused on how & why do I have two Google accounts. One's my main one, and the other one is for fun/social media and or backup.
Yes, I know, she's my older sister, she's family. But like, we could not be any more different in terms of personality, my quirks or likes/interests that she might not understand, etc.

Genuine question: Why is Instagram allergic to wider images? Each time I download a picture off of Google to post, somebody's head, arms, etc is cut off. Cropped looking pics is NOT the move 😑

Someone gifted me a Victoria's Secret perfume with Vanilla as the scent, and it's like... me as a scent. I also always get Vanilla Ice cream cone whenever the truck gets near the corner of my house during the warmer months of the year.

Do you ever just watch old TV commercials breaks on YT from 15 or 20+ years ago from the big three kids channels Disney Channel, Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network back in the day? I do it every so often and it really puts everything into perspective in terms of advertising, marketing, graphic design and programming. Like why do I barely remember what I watched last night or two weeks ago but I do remember:

How cruel were the Capri Sun commercials? These kids were going through it whenever they stepped on those pouches

It's honestly amazing how the irony shows that YouTube and all the other streaming services plays ads but I willingly watch these commercials for an hour.
that "forgeeditor" account is almost certainly a scam, btw. They're replying to posts with "writer" in the tag offering to beta-read your story even if your post didn't mention a story at all. :( I saw you'd sent them an ask when I went to go and block them and wanted to let you know.
Yes, a few people already messaged me about that few months ago and told me it was a scammer. I guess I have to be more careful in the future coming across other similar accounts. Thank you for the ask/heads up!
UPDATE, the fever is gone.
Tonight I just had a nice Easter family dinner and I will say, it feels good to actually eat real food again.

Having a cold the day before Easter, I'm feeling everything BUT festive rn :(
Ever since I started my first job, so far it seems like I've been the go-to person for coverage shifts. It wasn't too bad in the beginning, but now it's starting to become frequent. Last week, I've worked every weekday except Wednesday (and the weekends). Rarely do I have a weekday off, besides holidays or any planned event. Not that I mind completely, I'm still getting paid, and it's part time anyway so I'm not working crazy long hours.
And by the looks of how I've been moving as of late, I'm so glad I'm off mostly next week for Spring Break.
Every time I see the trailer for the new Zendaya/Robert Patterson movie, I have no idea what the plot is gonna be.
Either way, I'm excited to see it
