It was just another ordinary night at the Hazbin hotel. Everyone was sound asleep in their beds. Charlie and Vaggi slept in each other's arms while Adam slept with his back to Lucifer. Keekee slept at one of the four posts of Mallum's crib softly purring in her sleep. Finally Fat nuggets softly slumbered with his owner Angel dust in his bed. Things were calm and peaceful with everyone slumbering except for Mallum who just wanted to be held.
He didn't want Adam or Lucifer but he wanted his big sister Charlie to hold him. He loved her like crazy and yes Charlie hated his guts for a while but the day he said her name as his first word that changed everything. It melted her heart to know that he loved her. But now he was crying and despite several tries to calm him down it didn't work.
Eventually Vaggi and Charlie woke up to see what was going on. Sure enough Lucifer was in a rocking chair trying to soothe their son but it still didn't work. "Hey Vaggi could you please sing our little guy to sleep you have a beautiful and soothing singing voice."
Vaggi yawned then said "Oh alright come here little guy." She tenderly cradled the infant then sat in the rocking chair. She softly and gently began to rock while singing a lullaby.
"Over in Killarney many years ago me mother sang me a tune twas oh so sweet and low."
Vaggi continued to sing and rock the infant while the whole room became mostly silent except for the little occasional whimper. "Poor little guy you must've had a bad dream or bad gas." Lucifer said when Charlie walked in to see her girlfriend being sweet and tender.
"Is everything okay I heard some crying?" The blonde asked while her baby brother's head turned in her direction. He smiled at her then let out a semi loud belch which had everyone in the room softly cracking up.
Gently Vaggi put the baby in his crib and so everyone went to bed. When Charlie climed in bed with her girlfriend Vaggi softly asked a question.
"Babe why did you hate your brother for so long?"
The princess stated "It's because I felt like I was being replaced and my dad just had at it without asking me first."
The fallen angel nodded then told her "He still loves you like crazy no matter what it's just that little ones are a lot of work that's all."
Charlie softly smiled then said "Hey Vaggi I've been thinking maybe in a few years we could try for a baby of our own."
"Look sweetie I know you love kids but we are already busy enough with the hotel besides a few of the guests have been woken up by your brother and a few of them aren't very fond of kids." She stated as she held the princess in her arms.
"I know but still it would be nice and you'reso good with little ones." Charlie said nuzzling Vaggi with a yawn.
"Thanks now lets get some rest." Vaggi told her girlfriend who was already sleeping peacefully. She shut her eyes then Razzle and Keekee curled up in between the two lovers.
