White Christmas (1954)
Iâm dreaming of a white Christmas.
*White Christmas (1954, dir. by Michael Curtiz)
Rosemary Clooney was one of the most acclaimed and beloved singers of her generation, however, she couldnât dance! Youâll notice she has very few dance numbers throughout White Christmas, and all of them are quite simple. She once joked, âIf they could have dubbed my dancing, now, we would have had a perfect picture.â
Hey friends & Rosie fans, Iâm a little lost for content ideas right now, so if you have any idea or requests of things youâd like to see on this blog, let me know!! Seriously anything- pictures, music, videos- what do we want??
I am also going to do some reblogging of my older posts since I donât think many of you have been here since the start, so hopefully those will be fun for everyone to see!
Happy Birthday today (May 23) to the talented and gorgeous Rosemary Clooney! She was born on this day in 1928 is Maysvillve, Kentucky.Â
She is missed every day that she is not here, but we remember her through hr music.Â
Happy Birthday remembrance to Rosemary ClooneyïżŒ! đ§May 23, 1928 ~ June 29, 2002
Happiest of birthdays to our leading lady.

THAT DRESS
This whole album is incredible honestly, Iâll try to post all of the songs from it!!
âYou play the same love song, itâs the tenth time youâve heard it. Thatâs the beginning, just one of the clues: youâve had your first lesson in learninâ the blues.â
âMy momma done told me, âHon, a manâs gonna sweet talk and give you the big eyes, but when the sweet talkinâs done, a man is a two-face, a worrisome thing whoâll leave you to sing the blues in the night.â
âYou were just passing by, but you started something.â
This is a classic of Rosieâs recordings!
This is Rosieâs top song on Spotify right now! I wouldnât have guessed it, but maybe it was in a movie or something??
The song was written in the 50s for Pedro Infante & has been recorded many times by many artists. Iâve always loved this one!!
