I would like to clarify for those who feel death by orca-induced explosion is a sad end for the sunfish, that the article reports that both in this and another similar instance the sunfish were already dead when the 'high-speed ramming' technique was implemented. It seems that this is done by orcas both as enrichment/ply time and to break prey in smaller pieces for ease of consumption.

It would be like having your mum holding up a steak for dinner and seeing your brother one-punching it in small stir-fry slivers, followed by everyone hollering in delight.
