"  ohhhhhh  !!  "  diana  whined.  she  was  in  a  panic,  hands  fluttering  and  sleeves  flapping  wildly.  was  she  about  to  take  flight  with  that  amount  of  energy  (who  knows)  but  if  there  was  one  thing  the  mage  was  completely  sure  of  ...  she  was  lost.  the  girl  was  torn  between  plopping  on  the  ground,  wailing  to  the  sky  ...  &  screaming  in  frustration.  but  her  prayers  were  heard  &  a  woman  approached,  concern  evident  on  her  features.

diana  felt  like  a  pretty  bird,  fluffing  its  feathers  with pride.  she  always  wanted  to  make  her  big  sister  proud.  but  there  was  a  niggle  that  burrowed  beneath  her  skin.  homesickness  was  beginning  to  eat  at  her  insides.  biting  down  on  her  bottom  lip,  the  princess  grasped  at  sarah's  hand,  squeezing  it  tight.  “  i'm  …  i'm  happy  you  have  faith  in  me  …  but  don't  leave  me  just  yet,  okay  ?”  forcing  her  nerves  aside,  she  grinned.

“  sarah  !  ”  she  skipped  over,  eyes  sparkling.  the  little  mage  dropped  her  staff  onto  the  table  carelessly  &  hugged  her  tight.  a  BIG  squeeze.  then  another.  and  ANOTHER.  words  could  not  express  just  how  much  she  missed  her  older  sister.  finally  giving  the  woman  some  room  to  breathe,  diana  snickered.  “ohhh,  don't  worry  !  i've  just  been  busy  taking  care  of  them.  they'd  be  SO  lost  without  me!"
