grinding at RE serises and the problem of me with RE: Degeneration & RE: Infinite Darkness is that not only they use the same plotline (a guy being a good right-hand man of a very reliable & popular organization actually is a virus dealer in a black market & he uses the media and various political causes to distract people off his business & our protagonists go resuing the day), but they potrait Claire in these two series so bad that it's so damn hard to watch

like at least Degeneration made her role have a significant impact on the storyline when she connected the suspicious of Frederic plan with taking Curtis's advantage. In Infinited Darkness, they made her role just a background for the story. her research in Penamstan added nothing much to the story since Leon found out eventually with Jason & Shenmei. hell, even Leon noticed better since Shenmei's brother was the evidence witness of what happened there.

what is the point of making her a practical analyst if they didn't even show the effect of her research in connecting these events together, instead locking us following Leon's perspective ? and not to say they made Claire look & act so defenseless in these two series, ID even worse like they forgot this is the same girl who survived the RC incident and all by herself came to Europe & Rockfort Island to find her brother.

and the whole last scene with Leon, this is why i hated that Netflix cancelled season 2, because that scene didnt fit with the Cleon dynamic at all, and season 2 maybe can help us clear more if their conflicts are loosened.

Claire and Leon are recoded as very good friends & companionship. Claire and Leon trusted each other and were willing to try understanding each other's goal paths. so with the end scene, it would have been much better if they had let Leon & Claire explain and communicate with each other. like damn yes Claire would try to talk to Leon and ask him again because that is actually her true character, not fucking with throwing around ambiguous comments. and this way will be much more fit with Death Island when we see Claire & Leon working & talking to each other normally again (or somewhere among these series like aftermath RE6, or Revelation 2). like yes i know about the files DLC partially confirmed their tension after Infinite Darkness, but it would be so much better if they show it on media

overall, im just in rage currently with how these 2 series, specifically how Infinite Darkness portrays Claire and i hope with the remake of Veronica and reconning, these whole series can be fixed again to fit with Claire

#and before u jumped me #yes i know why Claire kept commented Leon's suit since it's a metaphor that Leon was in the middle of storm #and the path he was working with actually not what his goal was for #but it sucked it sucked so fucking bad when they potrayed Claire like a defenseless person like that cause no #she is understanding she has an empathy soul and she wants to help people even when they are so in the mud and #that is why she understands Leon and will try here best to understand him since she sees him as a friend & family #my babies were fighting and I HATE ITTTTT #and this is just my complaint about Claire #i also want to talk more about how they potrayed Leon's relationship with Shenmei and made her as Leon's asian woman love interest only #and killed her off when they realized this could not impact well on Leon's relationship dynamic #but yeah im on Claireoogie pill rn so ignore me #resident evil

with the announcement of code:veronica remake, which means we will highly get a chance to meet this stupid chungus twink again 😭😭😭😭😭 i really hope capcom keep his idiotic silly personality as the original because he is still making the game funny af
