I would describe myself as queer in every meaning of the word. I'm a genderqueer femme queer dating a butch and that bothers some people and I frankly don't care. my identity is mine alone and anyone who disagrees with it isn't welcome 🪽

Listen, maybe I can’t change the world, but I can pass eggs over the fence to my neighbor to save them a few dollars. I can cross the street and fix another neighbor’s cabinets. I can send my kid to the house next door with a can of tomato sauce they need and they’ll come back with a box of cocoa powder they weren’t going to use. I love being pampered and spoiled by my butch; the way he knows what I want and need, often before I do, is so incredibly intimate and special. I think sometimes people forget that spoiling their partner doesn't have to include spending money, it's about making them feel noticed and seen and loved. Some of the ways my butch pampers and spoils me include:

getting doors for me

cleaning my makeup off for me

applying suncream for me as it is my biggest sensory ick

carrying spare fans and a parasol for me during the summer for my heat intolerance

washing my hair when I'm too tired
