Hey so I was curious if people are interested in a modern fantasy romance but with accurate Eldritch lore in it. I've got an outline of events done but I was wondering if people would even like the genre. I've even got cool lore and world building too.

Why.

Can someone please explain to me how every year, I pull for Azul. This year, I did it 100 times during his birthday. No SRR. I pull Cater's event card ONE TIME just to get Azul's diner card and he comes home. This isn't a one off experience! This happened last year! Every time I try and get Azul cards this Weasley boy comes home! He's killing me with kindness. 😭

On the bright side, I saw Grim on the balcony for the first time. 🥲

The Power

If I become famous through the books I'm going to create and if I get interviewed... I have a lot of power. I could say or do anything and the consequences would be on my own head.

But... If I get famous... And this is a promise, I will talk about how I want a direct sequel of Dragon Quest Builders Two. I need more Malroth content and by golly, I don't care if I have to make a fool of myself to get it.

So if you see some random writer on TV who goes off topic and starts rambling on about a Dragon Quest Builders Three, it's me. I'm the author. XD

Dude, I hear you. Every time I get to Moonbrooke I'm like "Oh shit, here we go again." Malroth was one of the main reasons I got through COVID during the pandemic, I owe a lot to this gremlin. Lets just say that everytime I replay the game, I purposely assign Warwick to a cell and turn Malroth's cell into a place fit for a king.

I also give a way for Malroth to escape through a very tall ladder. It's not much, but it's honest work. XD

Unique Deltarune Dialogue!

So I wanted to get the egg in chapter 2 and I was already at Queen's mansion, and I ended up going back with both Susie and Ralsei and got a whole bunch of dialogue that was awesome! Because I wasn't there with Noelle when Toby Fox runs you over, I never got to eat the moss, so Kris and Susie ended up eating the moss together and it was hilarious.

I freaking love this game. XD

The Chimera

Okay, so I may be late to the party on this, but I needed to talk about it. XD

I just realized that this potential 'Grim' Overblot we may see in the future is influenced by all the Housewarden's overblots. Tentacles for Azul, Dragon wings for Malleus, a Snake tail for Jamil, Lion body from Leona, Fire from India, and I can't really find the rest of them. He's sort of an amalgamation at this point.

I just thought that it was really cool. :3

So when a kid is laying on the floor in a shop screaming u get down to their level n say ohhh noooo darling don't do that pleaaaase that's naughty cmon get up be a good boy or girl. The kids gonna stop n get up lmao. U say if u don't get up right now I'm gonna give ya a whip on the arse..1...2...n I bet they'll get up.

No. You remove your child from the scene (because children are often reacting to overstimulation such as the grocery store is too loud, the room is too bright, there’s people they don’t know around, they’ve been there too long etc) and go somewhere quiet. You then sit with them as they cry, reassuring them that you are present, and once they have stopped crying you offer comfort and ask if they know what it is that they were so upset about. Then you calmly talk to them so they - and you - can understand and fix the problem that was the root of the tantrum.

Bad example;‘Why are you crying?’‘I’m hungry’‘Well we’re going home soon!’

Good example;‘Do you know why you were crying?’‘I’m hungry’ ‘We’re at the grocery store to get food. We only have three more aisles to go. We can count them down together. Then we’ll go home and we can eat.’

Children don’t understand ‘soon’; even for adults, ‘soon’ is a relative term. children understand things like ‘three aisles. Two. One. Now we’re going home!’

Children need communication, understanding and teaching. Not beating, intimidating or belittling.

Get therapy.

I’m always amazed by posts like this, because they get mad at the child for “deciding to cry” without once consider that the child has an internal mental state and is unhappy.  It just never occurs to make the child no longer unhappy, just to make the child shut up.

when I was six or so, we went on a vacation with my extended family. One of my cousins, a toddler, would scream and cry if her parents ever left without her, which they repeatedly did anyway. My mother gave up entirely on figuring out what to do, and so set her in a room alone to “calm down”. I got in trouble for idk arguing or something and was put in time out. My mother told me I was stuck in the room with my crying cousin until 1: dinner or 2: I got her to stop crying.

“why are you crying?”

“I want my parents”

“theyre not here”

“I want them”

“…. They’re coming back, they just went to the store”

she stopped instantly. She didn’t know they were coming back. She’d been adopted a year ago. Her first parents didn’t come back. No one had told her that these parents always would.

Little kids have minds, just not experience. Treat them like it and youd be amazed how well they respond

Your job as a parent isn’t to make your kids behave. It’s to teach them how to handle the problems they’re having. *That’s* how you get well-adjusted adults.

It’s not your kid’s fault if you don’t know how to help with their problem.
