Hey everyone I’m posting this one in a rush! I have somewhere to be but I promised I would post today so hopefully tomorrow I can fix any makes I may have made!
“Alright, here's your receipt ma’am. Nola will be ready at 3:45pm.” You take the receipt and put it in your wallet “thanks I’ll see you later” walking out of the pet grooming shop. After 2 hours of running errands on the other side of town you return back to the pet grooming shop expecting to pick up your pomeranian dog Nola. Nola was your first dog you have ever owned by yourself. As a kid your parents weren’t fond of owning pets so you didn’t have any dogs at a young age. Pulling out the receipt before getting to the front desk “Hello, I’m here to pick up my Pomeranian dog Nola” you tell the worker there. She checks your receipt then goes into a back room where the kennels are for the dogs waiting to be picked up by their owners. Out comes the worker with Nola. “Hi baby!” Nola wags her tail in excitement. The worker hands you your dog “have a nice day!”
“Thanks, you too.” Holding Nola then walking out the shop. Nola was licking your face which is unusual because she knows you don’t like that but you let it slide since she probably missed you. The rest of the day went fine but you did notice Nola was very hyper than usual like she wouldn’t stop running around the apartment jumping on and off your bed. The Nola you knew was a calm and quiet dog. Dismissing another unusual behavior of hers you went to bed.
2 Days Later…
Asleep in bed after a night out at the club with some friends your phone rings. “Ugh please don't be work” you groan with a hangover leaning out of bed to pick up the phone. “Hello” , saying into the phone. “Hi, my name is Alexia. I’m sorry to bother you this early but there was a mix up at the grooming shop with my dog Nala and yours Nola.” Your heart dropped hearing this stranger tell you this news. Worried your dog probably thought you abandoned her, you're quick to set up a meet up with this person. “Yes I can be there in 15 minutes” she says.
You get ready and grab the dog who’s already awake with lots of energy. In the car on your way to the park Nala is anxious not knowing where you’re taking her. “It’ll be okay Nala. You’ll see your mama soon!” trying to calm the nervous dog down. Pulling into the parking lot near a trail. You step out of the car with Nala on leash walking onto the trail when you find an empty bench you decide to sit on waiting for Alexia. Pulling out your phone you send Alexia your location and wait.
Feeling a buzz from your phone you check it and see it’s Alexia she texted “just got to the parking lot. I’ll see you in a bit.” A little nervous now realizing you’re meeting a stranger in a park who you don’t know you start to think if this person is who they say they are. “Hello, Y/n?” You turn to see this tall muscular beautiful hazel eye woman.
*Music plays in Y/n head seeing Alexia*
“Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight! It must have been something you said!“
It was like she was walking in slow motion, everything about her looks were stunning. She had the perfect jawline you have ever seen. Nola was walking right next to her but you haven’t even noticed yet. As Alexia gets closer you snap out of it. “Uh…yeah sorry…I’m y/n. Alexia right?” You looked her in the eyes trying to not seem like you’re checking her out. As she talks you’re not listening. You see her lips move but you can’t hear anything because you’re still stunned by her beauty. “Nola was a great dog but I would love to have Nala back now please” nodding to her as you exchanged the dogs. “Okay well I’ll see you around sometime. Bye bye.” Watching her leave your jaw drops “oh my god” grabbing your face. Five days later you’re at a club on a Saturday night with a couple of your friends. “I’m going outside, I need some air” you tell a friend who’s dancing with a girl. Outside you’re checking your phone when you hear a group of women talking. Moving out of their way to let them walk past you see a familiar face. “Alexia?” She was with some friends heading inside the club. She stops and recognizes you “oh hey I didn’t think I would see you here. What are you doing?” Her friends stop with her but then she tells them to go inside. “I’m here with some friends too. They are dancing inside.”
“Cool, you wanna get some drinks?” She asked. Still stunned by her looks you were nervous inside but didn’t want to show her. Having the opportunity to possibly get to know this person more you say yes and then go inside the club with her. Alexia finds her friends at a table with bottles already having a good time. “Hey guys this Y/n!” Alexia introduces you to her friends “she’s the one where we had each other’s dogs” she reminds them of the story she told them a few days ago. “Oh yeah! How are you?” One of her friends asked. “I’m good!” You talk with Alexia and her friends for a while until a friend of yours texted you they’re leaving. “Hey I have to go, my ride is leaving” tells Alexia who’s having a good time with you. She frowns when hearing that “No stay I wanna talk some more” she puts her hand on your arm. How could you say no to her? She was too beautiful for you to say no. Puts the phone in your pocket “you know what I can stay for a little longer” thinking you’ll just get an Uber later when ready to go home. Hanging out with Alexia and her friends getting to knock each other a little better Alexia gets touchy. Her friends leave the table to go dance while you stay with Alexia sitting down. “I love cheese! Especially Swiss cheese!” She says feeling tipsy. “Me too! You think they call it Swiss cheese in Switzerland?” Asking also tipsy yourself drinking a cocktail. Alexia laughs, grabbing onto your arm. “You have a crush on me?” She asked out of nowhere looking into your eyes. She sees a smile forming in your face.
At Alexia’s apartment
“Ughf yeah” she comes down from her orgasm. She grabs your face as you plot your body on the bed next to hers giving her a few kisses to the lips. Her dog barks to be let into her bedroom “Nola stop!” She yells then you laugh. “What?” Without realizing she had said the wrong name. “Nala not Nola” you laugh at her mistake and she slaps her forehead. “Uhhhmm” she scratched her head “I’m trying to think of the right thing to say” Those were the only words your remembered after your girlfriend of 3 years dumped you. Leila was not only your girlfriend but your best friend so when the break up happened a part of you was lost. It hurt seeing her face every time at practice or games as you were teammates in Barcelona. It hurt even more when she got into a new relationship with a national teammate Misa Rodriguez. Leila treated Misa like the love of her life, someone who she could be public with on Instagram. Unlike your relationship with Leila it was very private.
The only ones who knew you were dating were your teammates from both club and national. It was depressing seeing Leila happy in a new relationship. She would talk about her new girlfriend almost all the time to Jenni and Mapi. She felt so cold towards you whenever training together. Never passing the ball or looking in your direction. After 2 months of dealing with it you requested a transfer and it was granted. Atlético Madrid offered a 2 year contract with the money you deserved. Accepting the offer you left saying goodbye to everyone except Leila.

“Y/n, you have been called up to the national team” your manager announced. “Pack your bags you leave tomorrow” Being called up to the national team was always something special for you. Normally, you would be excited but this time you weren’t. Nervous to see your ex-girlfriend you weren’t sure how it would go. Mostly because you still had mixed feelings for her but knowing she’s in a relationship you know it’s not the best to say anything you’ll regret.

Arriving at the national team camp with a few of the girls from Atlético and Real Madrid you all pose for a picture. “Smile more!” Lola Gallardo picks at you. Heading inside the facility “I’m ready to train” you say walking to your room. “You’re always ready to train” she chuckles. Setting your bags on your bed you change into the national team uniforms they provide for the team. “Let’s go downstairs and eat” Lola opens the door. Meeting and talking to everyone at lunch everything is going well. “So how’s England?” You ask Ona Batlle. “Good. We have been doing fine so far.” Eating her lunch. “Hello, good day to you sir. How are you?” Jenni attempts to speak English to Ona with an English accent. You laugh at her being stupid Ona does the same “dude you sound goofy as hell” she says with everyone laughing at Jenni. “My English isn’t bad, no?” Jenni laughs looking for an answer. You laugh again when you see Leila walk in with Misa. Done with eating your food you stop laughing and look at your empty plate. “Hey Leila!” Ona calls for her. Getting up from the table “I need to go stretch” you walk out of the cafeteria into a hallway. Jenni picked up on your reaction and followed after you.
“Hey what’s up?” She leans against the wall. Stretching your legs you look up at her “nothing’s up…why?” Knowing Jenni already knew “Look y/n, i understand the break up was not good but you need to not let whatever happened get to you.” You sigh listening to Jenni “I can’t see her. It’s weird.” Expressing to Jenni. “It’s not weird if you don’t make it that way. Talk to her today and get it over with. We need to keep up good chemistry in this team.” Jenni walks back into the cafeteria. She was right, you needed to talk to Leila. “I’ll talk to her later” saying to yourself. Later on walking back to your room to shower after practice you hear your name being called. Turning around to see Leila she looks nervous but asks to speak to you in your room. “Sure” opening your door to let you both in. You sit on your bed and she sits across on the other bed. “I’m sorry if I haven’t been the best towards you” Leila brushed her hand in her hair. “Don’t worry about it” not wanting her to feel anymore bad. “After the breakup I felt bad I wanted to tell you I would always be there for you but you avoided me” she looks into your eyes. Avoided her? What was she talking about? She avoided you and gave you the cold shoulder at practice back in Barcelona.
“Leila, you avoided me. At practice you never offered me the ball or nothing.” Shocked, she would say it was you. “Well yeah because you were doing the same” lifting her shoulders and shaking her head. “Is that why you left Barça?” She asked. You look at her in her eyes “pretty much” hearing that she shakes her head again. “I was hurt and thought I could heal not seeing you anymore but-” she interrupts “you didn’t”. “Yeah” you muttered awkwardly sitting on the bed. Leila grabs your hands and holds them “I’ll always love you. Whether you're my ex or a friend or even a teammate. But don’t let what happened in the past get you down.” A tear falls down your face and Leila wipes it off. “Let’s move on from this and enjoy a beautiful friendship. What do you say?” She smiles. You smile back “I would like that a lot. Thanks.” You give her a hug and she pats your back. “Ugh I smell like outside” pulling away from Leila. “Same I need to go shower” you both laugh “I’ll see you later” she walks to the door. You open it for her “see you later too” you smile then let her out.

Firstly I want to say I love your stories especially the Mapi one with the reader pregnant! The story about the readers ex girlfriend Carmen is sad but interesting. Would you be willing to write a prequel perhaps going into more depth of this Carmen person? Perhaps it can be where the reader tells Mapi what exactly happened and how it made the read felt at the time? It’s very interesting.

“Looks like we have y/n coming onto the field!” The announcer tells the viewers. Substituting in waiting for your teammate Megan Rapione on the sideline to exit off the pitch. At 23 years old you’re seen as the upcoming best player in two years if you keep up your amazing progress in football. Getting your last jumps in before you enter the game Rapione high fives you “go get ‘em tiger!” Running onto the pitch getting into position before the whistle blows. USA vs Spain in Spain’s turf Madrid. Looking around the pitch you see all of the familiar Spanish faces from back at home in Fc Barcelona except for one who doesn’t play in Spain anymore. Your girlfriend Ona Batlle who plays for Manchester United in England. She makes a silly face when your eyes meet. Being a forward you stick your tongue out at her from across the field mouthing “I’m going to beat you” with your hands on your hips. She rolls her eyes and chuckles. She was not going to be defending against you though. Mapi León, a fellow club teammate will be. The whistle blows for the game to start again. Immediately Mapi goes to defend as she knows how good of a player you are. However, she can’t keep up with you because of your speed. Sam Mewis sees you’re wide open and passes the ball.
With the ball between your feet you juggle it to throw Mapi off for your next course. “Fancy footwork!” Mapi shouts as you make her fall with the moves you pulled to trick her. Sprinting getting closer and closer to the goal Ona comes in hot with a slide tackle taking the ball away from you. “Hijo de la puta” out of frustration underneath your breath. Ona knew how to read your next moves. Both sharing the same mindset, she knows how you think. Running as fast as you can, you catch her trying to get the ball back. Knowing you can out run her she tries to pass the ball to midfield but can’t. With your legs intervening with hers you manage to get it back. “I’m open!” Lynn Williams yells. You passed the ball. Running back to the goal post with your teammate getting ready to shoot it inside. Lynn hits the goal post with the ball now bouncing back near you. With the score being 1-1 you race Mapi to the ball. The ball is in your possession, you’re running when Mapi surprisingly is right next to you. You’re fighting for the ball, trying to score for your team. Mapi gets the ball and tries to bolt when you decide to go in for a slide tackle but miscalculate and land on your left ankle with all of your weight breaking it. It was so painful you gasp then try to yell to no sound coming out. “Oh no” you finally cry out. Your face and neck are red with your forehead veins popping out and tears in your eyes. Holding your leg in pain feels like you can’t breathe. The referee stops the game with your teammates rushing to you checking on you. Ona runs to you “What’s wrong?” She has a worried face. “My leg is broken” , crying out to Ona. She crotch down hugging you, putting your face in her chest crying as she tries to comfort you. The Medics arrive “you need to leave” they tell Ona. She walks away with the other Spanish players concerned for your health. You’re put onto a stretcher with the medics taking you off the field to scan your leg. You look exhausted and tired. The crowd and players clap as you’re being taken care of. “I’ll see you soon!” Ona let’s you know she loves you. USA beats Spain 2-1. On medication with your leg in a cast you see Ona enter the back room where you’re staying. She gives you a kiss “how are you feeling?” She rubs your head. “Better now but my ankle is definitely broken” the tone of your voice was sad. “It’s okay baby I’ll take care of you” she gives another kiss. “I know but I don’t want to be injured” tears drop from your eyes. She grabs your face “I’m going to take care of you…I promise.” She kisses you again “you’ll be back soon better than ever” Ona helps you out of the bed. She hands you your crutches. Walking slowly with you out of the stadium back to Barcelona.
Leah is talking to Caitlin Foord “Do you know I can lift more than I did last month?”
“Like five times heavier mate” Leah says, showing off her arms. She stops when you're walking into the training facility.
Feeling her eyes you turn your head to shoot her a look. Indicating you want her “I have to go use the restroom real quick” Leah says walking to the building you entered. Leah enters the training facility and sees you’re 20 feet away from her walking down the hallway.
Without any words said you turn your head slightly knowing she’s following you smirk. Turning the corner into another hallway you enter the restroom and fix your hair quickly before Leah enters.
Leah inhales then exhales out her mouth then pulls on the door to enter. She smile's seeing you sitting on the restroom counter.

Leah walks in and grabs Katie to talk to her then they disappear. Walking to your car after training when you hear Katie shout “hey y/n wait up!” she catches up to you “Listen Leah spoke with me. I get it. Don’t feel embarrassed or some kind of shame. We all get caught at some point right?” She pats your back then leaves when you nod. Driving back home you think of Leah and what she means to you.
