people pleaser…?

I think I’ve always been a people pleaser because I’ve always wanted people to like me, and I thought hey ‘if I treat them like how I would to be treated then maybe they’ll do the same to me?’ But it never happens and im left with doing things and apologizing for things that i dont mean, it’s annoying since it’s built in me. I want to tell some people to shut up and stop treating me and dismissing me but then i end up apologizing for how i made them feel. Also wow thanks for reading
