wow, is this insanity on my tl. my goodness
I honestly wonder if some studios would allow their contemporary/jazz/lyrical to go on stage [in the intermediate category*] if they were trained as poorly as their hip hop routines they throw on stage. I find it very disrespectful. It’s like they don’t even try to properly train their dancers in hip hop. Many studios pay thousands of dollars for highly sought out choreographers and the routines look amazing on stage. Then their hip hop routine goes on stage and it looks like a local recreational $25 monthly class.
*Their hip hop routines are placed in the intermediate category at competitions with their other styles when they should really be in like the novice category. They clearly don’t spend as much time on it
the bhad bhabie girl told jojo to "suck my dick" after jojo thanked a fan for telling her how much more respectful and age appropriate she is compared to her, and jojo then responded to the "suck my dick" response with "exactly my point" lol
HAHHAHAHAHAHHA

But Is JoJo really age appropriate let’s be realistic. What 15 year old dresses, acts, or does the things JoJo does. They’re the same age. They have different target demographics. Plus retweeting “suck my dick” to a bunch of 10 & under kids to have on their timeline isn’t very smart.
A 15 year old with a brand. If she changes her look, she has to change her brand. That means no more Nickelodeon and no more Claire’s. You know what that means? No more money. Jojo’s target audience is younger than her. She can’t just drop the bows. She IS age appropriate for the age group she is marketed towards. I’m sure she’ll ease her way out of it eventually, but right now being Jojo with the Bow Bow is literally her job. I’d buy a million Jojo Bows before I even think about listening to anything little miss “cash me outside” puts out.
You literally just repeated the fact that they have different target audiences. I never understood why parents made comments about how artists aren’t appropriate for their kids. Like Karen of course a rapper isn’t going to be appropriate for your elementary aged children. That’s your responsibility to monitor not the artist. If Jojo’s target audience is children she doesn’t need to talking be about positivity, be anti-bullying and being a role model for children and posting shady shit like that. The post was basically just a bash Danielle statement, which isn’t positive, is bullying, and not very role model like for children. Retweeting something that says “suck my dick” is far from appropriate. Why share a post like that anyways…a grown ass woman hating on a 15 year old girl, while stating in her own post how many grown women are hating on JoJo..hypocrite?!
I think Jojo’s intention was to thank the woman for recognizing and appreciating what she does. Jojo herself didn’t say anything about Danielle. Whether she retweeted it or not, the kids could still see it because you can see people’s retweets under the post, right? I could be wrong about that because I don’t use Twitter. People get on Jojo’s case for dressing and acting the way she does at 15, but do you think children would be interested if she didn’t? Age appropriateness goes beyond clothes. Cursing, twerking, and posting middle finger pics are all things no 15 year old she be doing on their public Instagram.
Joelle “Jojo” Siwa, 15, Nickelodeon star, very successful bow business, wears childlike clothing, is an advocate for positivity and not backing down to bullies. Parents and children love her. Overall very sweet girl. Target audience: 12 and under. Has no singing talent, but somehow has a pretty successful music career, too.
Danielle “Bhad Bhabie” Bregoli, 15, has made a fortune on being disrespectful, uneducated, and violent. Has shown no signs of changing for the better. Acts like she is 25. Overall very rude and careless child who thinks she’s grown and is enabled to act that way.Target audience: her fellow ignorant children and juvenile delinquents. Has no lyrical talent, yet she also has a pretty successful music career.
Pick your player.
No one would’ve seen that post. JoJo took a screenshot of a FB post and put it on Twitter. I’m not saying I disagree with you at all. All I’m saying is JoJo was being messy by posting a screenshot that no one else would’ve seen. She could’ve privately messaged that mom or just commented on that FB post. Bashing someone to praise someone else is never okay.
You also have to remember they have different backgrounds. JoJo comes from a well off family, in a nice home, growing up in the studio and being around a bunch of positive people. She’s a product of her environment and I am very proud of her. Unfortunately, Danielle is also product of her environment. She didn’t come from a family with a lot of money, she basically grew up in the ghetto, those areas tends to be more like crabs in a barrel. Maybe I have a lot of empathy for Danielle because I know she is still is a child and doesn’t have anyone to teach her the right ways. Obviously her mom didn’t do that great of a job.
My original point was that they have different target audiences, so that mom’s post was unnecessary. But I guess she figured if I talk crap about a child [Danielle] and fawn over JoJo then she would get recognized by JoJo. I guess it worked even though she did exactly what she [grown woman] said other grown women do to JoJo, which is bash Danielle.

im sure she doesn’t seem age appropriate when the 15 yos society is gassing up are ones that look 10 yos older than they actually are and don’t have the heads screwed on straight. but you are right, they have diff target demographics, one is aimed at children and the other is for delinquents and degenerates 🤷
+ the problem isn’t 10 and unders seeing “suck my dick” on their timeline it’s why these 10 and unders have a twitter in the first place
How does Danielle not look age appropriate she wears sweats and tanks or crop tops most of the time. She literally dresses like how almost all of the little dancers her age [some younger] dress outside of dance. A lot of them follow her on social media too (I just checked Danielle’s instagram to see how many mutuals we have). Are they delinquents and degenerates too? Also, if we know they have different target audiences what was the point of her sharing the post? If her purpose was to let children know it’s okay put others down in order to uplift yourself then she made her point.
But you’re right ten year olds shouldn’t be on Twitter, but that goes back to parents needing to monitor their kids.

Ik this is pertaining more to industry dancers but what are your thoughts on younger girls doing heels? Nat Bat & others have been doing heels since they were 15 & Kaycee Rice is doing the same. Those classes have (usually) very provocative choreo & they won’t even be hired to do anything in heels until they’re at least 18 so I don’t see a point in starting so early.
Nat has a very mature face, so I always forget how young she is. However, I remember feeling dirty watching Nat and Lexee in Nicole’s class because they knew what they were doing and trying to look sexy. They’re teenagers, but I still see them as babies. I’m all for girls embracing their bodies and not being shamed about it so I’m torn. I didn’t know Kaycee is taking heels classes now. As long as the song and choreo isn’t too raunchy I don’t see too big of an issue. 16 & over should be the limit that way they have two years old training. I believe that’s what Nicole has as a rule now (even though it seems like choreographers sometimes bend that rule for kids who have clout and or having the dancing skills for it even though they aren’t mature enough). #ranty
