My Mocha finally came after being in Grovecity OH hell for so long. I ordered her on the 9th cause of the sale and just came on the 17th ;-;

Long wait aside, I can’t wait to get her stuffed in a way that I prefer and get her a cute outfit.

New stuff I’ve found at a antique store. The Build a bear has dinosaur sounds and an adorable shirt on him.

Super Mario All Stars was pricey but it comes with the soundtrack CD and Super Mario History Booklet. Can’t wait to play these remakes ^^

Origin: Released in Japan on February 27, 1996 for Red and Green then October 10th for Blue before then getting an international release as just Red and Blue in September 28, 1998 in North America.

Release: Sometime in 2020, according to the box

Type of toy: Action Figure

Condition: Great since it has never been opened

My thoughts

I really love this figure a lot. The Gengar line is probably my favorite Pokemon line of all time at the moment. Haunter merch is surprisingly not very common so it was a nice surprise to find it.

I currently have no plan on unboxing it. Haunter looks very good in the box and just looks amazing on my shelf. I usually don’t keep anything in box but feels appropriate for it. Of course, that might change in the future but for now, currently staying in box.

Please make more merch of the Gengar line! 🥺🥺

Origin: Final Fantasy IX, released on the original PlayStation on July 7th 2000 in Japan and November 14th 2000 in North America.

Size: 34 Inches or 85 centimeters 

Kind of Toy: Plush Sample, large  variant.

Release date: Most likely unreleased

Condition: Mostly fine, with a slight stain on his jacket and his buckle peeled from the material used and being in his bag for so long.

My thoughts…

I found this plush on eBay back February/March. At the time, he was around $400+ which I found too expensive so I didn’t buy it at the time. Over time, the seller slowly began to lower the price till I found it acceptable and arrived at my house days later.

I was certainly shocked about how big he was. I mean, 34 inches is a lot but it didn’t hit me how big he was until he arrived.

He is a Sample and I strongly believe he is a unreleased large prototype size of the small Vivi Plush that came as a pre-order item. I have basically found no other information about this plush.

Unless he’s from a very specific event that only happened in Japan and has been poorly documented, I don’t think Square would actually release a giant size plush. Especially since I don’t think they’ve actually done that before or afterwards.

Seller immediately placed another one up for sale after I bought mine so at least two of him exist to my knowledge.

Other than the stain and peeling buckle, he is in very good shape and happy to have him in my collection. My other Vivi plushies are happy to welcome a fellow brother.

I (somehow) got a third sample Vivi Plush. He is extra large (34 inches I believe) and I believe this size version of the preorder plush never actually came out since I have found no other evidence or any documentation otherwise.

He does have some peeling on his square buckle thing but thankfully it’s not too bad. I’ll be taking good care of him. We’ll love him so much:)
