Finished this year's charity chocobo! ...Not that it will affect my activity any, but sharing.

"Thank you." The chuckle was quiet as he stretched his arms over his head; then winced a bit at the resulting pop. "Afraid I don't have today off, exactly, but I bet if we get Uncle Prompto to help, we can all tell Ignis we look very sad, then I might get a half day." There was a pretty good chance he would, actually.

"What kind of book do you feel like? Dragons and princesses and kisses? Or lasers and space battles?" Luna wasn't present to give her opinion on his options, after all.

"Ahhhh!" That was the only sound that came out of the little boy's mouth as he ran down the hallway once he got out of bed, bumping right into the other, looking up immediately upon impact in a panic. "The world's broken and it lost all the color!" It was as if some dastardly cartoon villain had swiped the color overnight, like a tv show plot. "I don't wanna live in a world that's all white outside!"

Noctis couldn't help the little oof that escaped him. After all, small or not, Novus coming directly at him definitely had an affect.

The king's lips twitched upward, but he tried to hide a smile. It was one of those days when the brace required a cane's help to get around as well, all because of the blasted cold to begin with. "Tell me about it. It's a tragedy out there."

Hand on Novus' shoulder, he tried to turn his son around to walk alongside him. "It might be white and gray for a while, if the storm sticks around." Noctis tried not to sound too dramatic about it, but it was a little bit fun. "Everything out there's frozen solid, too. Colder than the freezer." Well, about the same as the freezer, probably, but nevermind.

And of course I didn't get anywhere near as much done as I wanted to beforehand, part of that being the perfectly normal and understandable urge to make a pair of travel pants out of spite. Like you do. POINT BEING, alas I am off and away for two weeks or so, hopefully there will actually be more writing at some point when I return??? Hopes. Enjoy and be well and focus spite into neat things whenever possible.

Quick reminders: the Desert Bus for Hope charity stream technically starts today (and please do consider this an invitation to check out the fundraiser at any point during the run!), so there will be minimal activity for the week but I will continue to check in. Chocobo auction begins early Saturday morning my time (EST). Those of you aware of my "day job" may also like to know there's a sale running until the end of the month, so... mention for vaguely-related geeky shinies.

Minor (and slightly late) update x2.

Update the first: charity chocobo is now scheduled, and auction begins next Saturday morning. Which means!

Update the second: the charity marathon stream I am fully invested in every year begins this Friday somehow. So! I will make every attempt to have the like-for-a-thing stuff done by then. And the rest... we will... be hopeful about, as more busy will follow that.

In the interest of making it a little easier to blacklist this specific thing, I'll be posting updates under the tag "charity chocobo", though quite frankly I will actually be sleeping through... most of the auction time, so there aren't going to be a whole lot of updates. Time, man, what even is it.

And appreciated. The desire is strong, but the everything else is like LEGO pieces upon the floor.

We don't need to be mutuals, we don't need to have interacted before, and there's no particular cut-off period; just bop the heart for something. Drabble, starter, inbox thing; who knows what could happen. If there's a preference for (or against!) a specific mood, type of thing, or muse from a multi-muse, please do comment and let me know. I might ask for clarification through Tumblr's questionable messaging system first, if needed, or feel free to drop in and ask about whatever.
