Character #2: Chang'E! 💙🌙🐰

Posting my second art piece for the yearly Melanin Beam Challenge hosted by @creatingblackcharacters !!

Here is my second and final piece for the Melanin Beam Challenge (and tbh my favourite of the two I made): The Moon Goddess Chang'E from Lego Monkie Kid!

She is so cool but sooo underrated, cause what do you mean she only showed up in one episode and then never again??? I wish we got to see more of her 😭😭

I'm super happy with how her redesign came out! I changed the texture of her hair but kept the style largely the same, and added some blue streaks in her hair! (Can you tell I love this shade of blue that's in her design lol) The rest of her outfit is kept the same, though I gave her some blue nail polish as well to match her lipstick. (I also have a version of her above without the lipstick)

Like before, I also made some edits of her from the show itself. I think she turned out so cute! 💙💙

Thank you again to Mrs. CBC for hosting this art challenge! It was so fun to redesign these characters, I had such a blast! <33
