Yoooooo I study this, it’s not just Topology, it’s specifically knot theory, and these are all examples of how “unknots” work, meaning that they look like bullshit knots but are basically a circle or straight line depending on if you’re doing closed end or open end knot theory. Unknots cannot be successfully tied around something in open end knot theory (the more applied version) no matter how complex they look. It’s great!
