did you not watch the episode, or did you just conveniently forget that the entire POINT was the diamonds are supposed to be getting better and NOT ruling through fear when its about a gem you dont like. seriously just LOOK

like im sure youre all very salty and grumpy because jasper is back and you hate her and blahblah blah youve all made that VERY clear over the last three fucking years but like jesuuuusss. its ANNOYING
give her a chance, shes got no idea whats going on now and has been completely out of the loop her whole goddamn life. shes FINALLY gonna have an opportunity to learn and grow, which shes literally never had before.
and that growth definitely isnt gonna happen through FEAR. thats what shaped her life until this point and look what good that did her!!!! not much! its long over due that she get some compassion, empathy, and learns to love herself and be independent and free
yeah people are entitled to their own interpretation but it’s super annoying to see a lot of people going “it’s so nice to see yellow diamond protect steven from jasper” like… protecting him from what exactly? jasper stopped her attack as soon as she recognized that she wasn’t in beta anymore, and then she looked at yellow, who smiled at her. I mean if jasper didn’t stop herself yellow probably could have put her hand between them or something but she didn’t have to protect steven because there wasn’t anything to protect him from! jasper wasn’t going to attack him at that point!
