In the russian version of Journal 3 Ford calls Bill "my genius" instead of "my muse" and it's so stupid it's funny. The thing is, the word "muse" in russian has female gender, so it is used with pronouns she/her, while we know that Bill is he/him. They even changed the phrase "I was contacted by a "muse""to "I was contacted by some "genius". "More precisely, he himself called himself Muse, but since it is “he”, I call him “Genius”" in the My Muse page It is sooo stupid like omg if our kids read something like this they will all become trans! Because that's 100% how it works!

And for me this is a big problem

Like, I know it shouldn't be surprising for me as a person who lives in Russia but it's not even just about lgbt and how russian government hate it so much for no reason it becomes absurd, it's also about women and how our language treats them

Because, you see, we have no problem with referring to women by words that have male gender. Most of professions, positions, words that used to describe people or animals are in male gender, and even though you can easily change them into female by adding the right suffix, it is a rule that you can't do it. For example, saying "woman doctor(male gender word)" would be more correct than "doctor+the suffix that will make it female gender" (even though there's this thing called feminitives that women are using, but it is treated with aggression and is still considered wrong)

While when a female gender word is used referring to a man, this is a tragedy and we have to change that immediately (and I'm not saying that there aren't any opposite words that have female gender and used for man and women but you can literally count them with your fingers so it's basically just exceptions of the rule)

Why do we treat women like they are not right? Why do we make them feel invisible by the way we are saying things?

Maybe I'm making a too much of a big deal out of this, but this little thing just makes me mad and it is also a little piece of a big problem puzzle
