I’m having a rollercoaster of a day

#ended up not having to cover my coworkers shift because I literally just started and am not confident in my closing abilities nor have I #ever opened #(which I shared only for my other coworker to drop off her key and tell me I can do it and wish me good luck #she isn’t available today and dropped off the key right before leaving)#*only* for sick coworker to call me and let me know she will work today despite being sick and we agreed for me #to be on standby if she needs it #but now I feel bad because she sounded horrible #like genuinely feel awful #I’m not the type of person who wants to just try something #no I need to see it a few times before I am confident in the ability to do it myself #or do it under guidance #man this sucks #I gotta postpone some stuff as well #because if she calls me I want/need to be ready asap #I’m sorry I just don’t want to open and stand by myself when I haven’t even worked a handful of times #applauding those who can and want to but that’s not me #just spent 10min in queue for a phone call and hung up because there’s other things #called my gp to reschedule an appointment I won’t have for weeks #but I’m available earlier and that’s sorta needed lol #only for them not to be able to call back for another few hours #+ I’m volunteering for something and the people I’m working with are a few years younger and I’m not fond of the way they’re handling #things 😭 like brother I wish I could just tell them ‘okay you made a bad decision’ or ‘no we have or should do this’#but like it’s volunteer stuff and I don’t want to be mean #as in why bother if I’m not paid and I also don’t want to be mean #today has me feeling like a fool #was mostly looking forward to going to the gym but now I’ll wait till the work day ends just in case #I was gonna go to the gym and then clean up at home and treat myself to lunch in town #but now I don’t even want to show my face in town in case my coworker sees me :/#which I shouldn’t feel bad about because again it’s my day off and I couldn’t come in because I have never opened nor been there during #opening so I genuinely have no idea what to do

#I get physically anxious or nauseous depending on what’s going on #they’ve got me hooked #like with horror films the jump scares get you #sometimes there’s the tension and fear #but here it’s just #oof #I don’t even know what the show is called because Bosnian and Croatian channels have translated the name differently #the worst part is that the main couple isn’t doing bad rn it’s his brother with I was supposed to get married but in love with another girl #who is married. but pregnant with his child #and he has her name tattooed on his chest
