I may have secretly texted Keith’s boss and asked him to tell Keith to stay home all week. 😈

Stupid man was ready to go back to work today. I’m making him lay around and do the bare minimum. He hates it, but after scaring the mess out of all of us, he doesn’t get a say.

In other news, the kids suffered through going to Jamestown with me yesterday. They suffered mostly in silence thanks to the promise of ice cream when we were done.

He’s back home 😁 we still don’t know what’s wrong, but there’s a plan in place. And now he can at least be at home and rest in peace.

Keith's back in the hospital. They can’t find the source of his pain. There’s nothing showing up in the scans, so it’s not a blockage issue this time. He’s still in pain, his stomach is bloated and tender.

They may have to go in a do a more invasive surgery where they take his organs out and see what they can find.

Heh heh heh. Fun times over here

He’s out of surgery and doing fine. The doc said there was a lot more scar tissue than he thought there would be, but he was able to remove it all. So, hopefully that’s the end of the problem.

Isn’t it crazy how small they can make the  incisions?!

Came home to two sleeping kiddos and three that were wide awake. So very proud of them for holding down the fort today. It sucks that we don’t live close to family, and that they had to stay on their own. We’ve raised some pretty independent, self sufficient kids though, and they did great.

Keith ended up back in the ER at 1:30 this morning. Whatever’s going on keeps causing obstructions, and his doctor decided to do exploratory surgery today. It’s now 6:20 pm, and they just took him back.

I am trying hard not to cry. I know he’ll be fine. I know everything will go well. But I’d be a lot better if it was all done and over already.

Keith and I went out and did a ten mile run this morning. I think I may have broke him. He may be faster than me, but I can take him on in endurance any day 😁

My stud of a husband is now second in charge of a regiment. It doesn’t come with all the glory or prestige, just a lot of extra work to make the number 1 look good. But he’s damn good at it, and I’m really proud of him.

Lol, I will forever be his number one fan.

I posted a video on TikTok today. It was a rant cause at this point, I’m done. I don’t care if I’m overreacting or being emotional or whatever. I do not want my husband deploying to the Middle East again. Period. The end. It’s selfish, but I don’t give a fuck.

And my god, the people on there in the comments are mostly mean and/or stupid. Makes me really appreciate it over here.

Got to go to two protests today. One in Yorktown, one in Williamsburg. They were both so great. I’d been feeling sad, but seeing so many people out there who cared enough to show up was incredible.

The best sign I saw said ‘if Kamala had won, we’d all be at brunch right now’

Came around a bend in the trail yesterday to see this leviathan blocking the way. Scared the bejeezus out of me. Once I skidded to a stop, I realized it was just a sweet ‘ole rat snake. I asked it nicely to move, and it acquiesced after a bit.
