I know it’s been forever since I’ve updated, but it’s been a busy year. I managed to finish a new Dota set for Ember Spirit in collaboration with Ziedrich for this year’s New Bloom event.

An exploratory 3d sketch of Oro from Street Fighter III I did for an introductory Zbrush workshop I’m running in 2 days. There’s some rather creative anatomy going on here which I’d like to address and iterate upon when I have time do a full model later. I completely forgot to post this when it was completed, but better late than never! This is my first collaboration with a Pro player on a Dota2 cosmetic. Designed by Ziedrich, modeled and textured by me.
Loadscreen was a Marmoset render painted over by Ziedrich. You can see more on the Workshop
Phantom Lancer set for New Bloom. Thought it would be interesting to re-imagine him as a Chinese Fisherman wielding a giant oar.
Had a lot of design feedback on this one from my brother and Ziedrich, who also designed the weapon.

Greetings Don Don. First, thanks for all great works you made for dota2, they are wonderful! I am an amature lover of 3d models, like to pull dota models out to make poster. I have been long fascinated with the loading screen you made for the toxic siege set, the lighting and shades on the character are so perfect! I just exported ac into blender and played with shaders,but the effect is far less satisfying.What program did you use to make the image? Maya or other 3d render tool? thx a lot!
I use Marmoset Toolbag 2 for all my load screen renders:

It's a real time model viewer, and is easier to set up than most normal offline rendering options (Blender, Maya, 3dsmax).
Once I have the base render, there's still some work to do in Photoshop to tie all the elements together and smooth out some lighting artifacts.Thanks for your support :)

i' already posted on steam worshop but i come here too. What if you add an alternative style for the sword and the shield that look like the old ones? i really love that. And i don't know if you have problems with that beacouse of the Premier league problems? ty a big fan of the set and your work.

I still have a lot to do, like the dragon form and loading screen.
I frequently get a lot of questions about whether or not I plan on re-designing the old Father of Dragons set I made for TPL last year. In some ways, I was hoping everything would resolve itself, but it hasn't, so I finally decided to re-work his model and design. I'm confident that this set stands on its own as a better executed and better designed set.
The loading screen is still being worked on, and a dragon form to go along with the set is coming soon!
