Droog didn’t like that nickname, obvoiusly, but he didn’t say too much to stop the felt. Just couldn’t be bothered, he thought. It was true the man was dressed sharp- more than he was usually, with Droog’s least favourite colour.

“Yes, I’ve gotten to a point I am not longer satisfied by sax,” he said deadpan, there was no point of him joking about anything, but he liked the way he talked. He could sense people watching, which was not a good sign. Of course it wasn’t difficult for Droog to stir up something violent, as he had been wanting to, but it was not the right location with the right man.

“Piano is a bother, but it is a good suggestion. I’m not good enough to be called talented, trust me,” he took a sip of his own drink.

A pause.

“An invitation like that from you sometimes surprises me, actually, it always does. I wouldn’t turn it down of course. I’d die to spend more time with you.”

He said, again, deadpan.

“Really?” He tilted his head to the side, green eyes wide with curiosity. “You’re bored with playing your instrument... and you assume you’re not good enough to be called talented.”

He blinked, staring, and then he shrugged.

But a grin came to his expression and he pressed his hands together, a sort of soft, excited little noise akin to a ‘gnee!’ came from him when Droog said he wouldn’t turn it down. “Well hey,” He spoke, after taking some time to pretend that small noise never came from him, “If I thought you weren’t good enough, I wouldn’t of said something like that.” He waved a hand of dismissal and his grin fell to nothing. “I’d definitely be up for a little thing like that.”

“It’d be fun, right? Or at least not boring. Perhaps it’d give us something to do on days when there isn’t anything going on. We’d have to practice first...” Crowbar looked away from the table for a moment, “...Somewhere. So I don’t mess things up -- I haven’t played the piano in a while, but It’ll come back to me, I’m sure.”

Droog remained expressionless. Well, slight shift of that hard shell face.

“I wouldn’t expect you to dress specially for this occasion.” Nodding, indicating slight approval to the other. Not bad, not bad.

Droog deliberately had his eyes focused on Crowbar when he heard the name. Not that he preferred having one, although he did not object to it.

“Lost on what to do lately. Honestly I did perform in a few bars lately with the sax and… it was alright,” he looked away again and took a sip of his drink, “nowadays I hardly find anything time consuming.”

Putting the glass down, he sighed.

Getting Droog's slight approval was still very amusing to Crowbar. He knew Droog was very specific with his sort of suits and -- ... Well. He thinks he knows. He's not sure really.

And since Droog didn't really say anything about the nickname (besides stare at him), Crowbar's shoulders relaxed a bit and he managed to keep a small smile.

"Really? Playing said instrument doesn't help you at all?" He took a sip of his own drink; something to keep him busy. He wasn't nervous or anything -- he just didn't want to seem fidgety in front of the carapacian. He could sense a few eyes were on him, now, and a quick glance to the right confirmed that suspicion. Two prospitians seemed to be staring at him. Great.

With a gruff sigh, he looked back at Droog and gave a small shrug.

"Well. If you're musically inclined... Did I use that word right? I don't know -- if you have some sort of musical talent, I mean. You could try learning something else. Like a piano for instance. Or a violin."

A pause.

"I mean, I know how to play a piano. And even if you don't want to learn something else, maybe we could play something out of sheer boredom sometime. I bet we'd sound nice, don't you think?"

Seeing the odd hat up to meet the other’s sight, Droog pull off the usual straight face responding to the weak smile. Why did he even bother.

”I’m just quite surprise there would be a day of me seeing you in that colour, nice suit, too.” He looked around, and shook his head.

Certainly attracting a lot of Droog’s attention though.

”I’m fine, a little, how would you say this, lost.” he said, looking a little distant.

”Lost on what more I can do to proceed. How about you?”

The weak smile turned into something of a genuine one and he tilted his head to the side, eyes squinting up in delight due to how big his smile was. That was probably odd for the carapacian to see. But Droog's surprised comment was oh so amusing to Crowbar.

"Thank you. I thought it looked nice -- didn't want to meet you looking all shabby, right?" His smile faded quite quickly and he leaned back in his seat.

"Well I'm fine, Droogsy." Slip of the tongue and honestly -- he hoped he didn't catch that. It's just a nice little nickname that's probably rude to call him. "But you? Lost? Proceed on what?"

"I mean... If you need anything to do, you could always take up a hobby of something you enjoy." A pause to sip on his drink and study him a bit. "Preferably something that is time-consuming."

Droog was surprised to find the big man of the felt in dark colour. He walked near and nodded to the other. Studying the other’s expressions while taking a seat himself. Ordered whiskey, and turned.

“Good afternoon. What made you think black was the best choice?” his eyes filled with interest. Just glancing over to the people around, then back to his companion that afternoon.

"Hmm?" He raised a finger and pushed up his hat a bit as to see Droog. A small smile played on his face and he leaned back, a chuckle coming from him. "Didn't want to attract that much attention, is all. Or am I attracting more attention by actually doing this? I haven't gotten any stares or anything yet."

"Anyways," He took a sip of his drink, clearing his throat from the burn afterwards, "How are ya?"

Crow had arrived at the bar, and he sat in the corner, dressed in a black attire rather than his usual green as to not attract attention. He even had a black hat pulled over his eyes. While his skin was a strikingly green color, if people weren't paying enough attention, they'd probably just glance over him.

But he'd ordered a bit of red wine for himself, sipping on it as he waited for Droog. Honestly, he had no idea what he was here for. He'd said something about talking to him about certain things, but. Well...

Maybe he was just bored as well.

I supposed tomorrow in that case. Wouldn’t have a preference on the time.

Oh I am aware.

Right, then.

I’m thinking a bar I know. I’ll send you the address later. Time wise, as I said, nothing is going on around the crew so I am nothing but free. It’s up to you when we meet up.

My schedule is freeing up, so perhaps tomorrow or the day after tomorrow if I don't get to you. Does this fit your standards? I'll probably show up around five or seven, once given the address. While I might be free from running around, running this mansion takes a lot of work, see?

Movies tend do be something that Boxcars or Deuce would prefer, I believe.

Well, I can bring my sax along if you want a drink. I haven’t played for a while- and listen to whatever you might want to talk about

At the very least, it kills time.

Sure, Droog. That sounds pleasant. When and what time are you free? Is there a bar of your choice or would you prefer going elsewhere? Perhaps something void of other onlookers.
