Our most prized possession, Eternal Snow, can be found by using any gathering profession in the ice territories this week. Neutral and ice-aligned monsters also have a chance to rarely yield these items as drops in the Coliseum. They may be crafted at Baldwin’s Bubbling Brew using alchemy reagents. No idea who submitted this, but that’s my brother you’re talking about. The dragon was level 25, fully stated, with eliminate as well. If the person didn’t want to spend 700g on a dragon, new or not, they wouldn’t. But don’t be saying that he took advantage because he didn’t and I do not take kindly to you calling him a dick. AND he let this person keep the dragon, not just borrow. So maybe, don’t be a dick?

Someone can buy a fully stoned level 25 for only 450g-500g. So please tell me how this isn’t taking advantage of someone? Your fucking brother charged them ~200g more than the average price in the AH.

They better not fucking take that dragon back and let them keep it or your brother is a piece of shit! :)

No, he didn’t. And this person isn’t exactly new either, they’ve been on almost a year.

I get someone can buy a dragon on the AH fully stoned for that much. They didn’t want to. This person has explicitly said what they wanted to pay, and they paid it, and they are happy. I don’t get why everyone is so up in arms and pissy about this. Again, this person wanted to get a dragon for 700g.

Why would my brother give the dragon back? He sold it to them. It’s theirs. So stop being pissy over someone else’s decision just because you don’t agree with it and using passive aggressive smile faces. Dear lord people it’s just a game about dragons.

So this person wanted to borrow a level 25. They’re pretty new to the game, so I’m assuming they don’t know any better… So they offered 700 gems just to borrow a dragon. Two people decided to take advantage of the poor soul…

User T commented first, so they got what they wanted. They offered OP a dragon with elim. In all fairness, they DID tell OP that they can keep the dragon for good, since they were paying so much. However, the cheapest level 25 with elim in the AH is 500 gems. OP could’ve just bought one for themselves OR they could’ve gone to their flights borrowing thread and borrow a level 25 for free for a while. 

I don’t give a shit about them losing gems, it’s just virtual dragon money and it doesn’t matter, but it’s beyond me how some people can be such big fucking dicks. You gotta be real fun at parties if your hobbies include tricking newbies on dragon neopets into buying your ugly dragon for way more than its worth.

Except he does. This is the deal the person wanted and my brother would never cheat someone. I’ve read the thread myself, neither were unaware (I mean, he didn’t know 700g was expensive for this kind of dragon but other than that), this it not some vague thing, I do know. The person is happy and it’s confirmed in the thread in question. I get wanting to defend new-ish people, but guys, maybe focus on people actually cheating people.

Uh, except he did because the new user apparently didn’t know better and was probably trying to make a good deal? “They wouldn’t have paid that much if they didn’t want to” isn’t any valid excuse. Just because they were willing to pay that much doesn’t mean your supposed brother wasn’t a dickweed for taking the extra 200G. Sorry, no defense here for him, and instead of white knighting for him maybe let him take the fall?

Again, he didn’t. Also this person has been on FR nearly a year, not exactly what I would call new. As for my “supposed brother” this is actually my brother and he is not a dickweed. I’m not white knighting for him, I’m defending him from people who:

1. Don’t even know him

2. Don’t seem to know what was going on in the thread

and 3. Don’t seem to realize that this person was perfectly happy with the deal and my bother wouldn’t have made the deal otherwise
