“i know i’m not your usual clientele, but i’m in a bit of a pinch,” kyungjoo began, sheepish smile on her face. she was spotlight talent, sure, but she was hardly an idol. she didn’t want to encroach on territory that would put her or taesuk in trouble. “jinkyung’s show is about to have another season premiere, and there’s a red carpet, and i’ve outgrown all the nice dresses i use to have.... would i be able to borrow one from the spotlight stock? or get something tailored possibly?” @taesrvk​

“before i start with the bleach, you need to promise me this is okay, alright?” kyungjoo said sternly, raising her eyebrow at naeun. “i’m happy to help you-- i think blonde will really suit you. but if you’re going to get in trouble with your trainers, we’re not doing this...” @rvnaeun​

“surely we’re not home alone this evening, are we?” kyungjoo commented, looking up from the couch. sure, most of their children had left the nest to go move into dorms and start the next chapter of their careers, but the nest wasn’t empty quite yet. not that she’d be complaining about a night relaxing with her partner, of course.. “where are naeun and goeun?” @rvyoonseok​ @rvjinkyung​

“are you sure you packed everything? this suitcase is pretty light,” kyungjoo commented, following her child into their new dorm, bags in tow. “i know you don’t have much room here, but if you forgot anything at home, i can run back and get it for  you....” @rvdongeun​ @rvrikki @rvsoeun​

“I have to say, there is very little stranger than being a forty-three year old man with four children already, and getting into a pregnancy scandal,” he admitted, rubbing his hand over his face with a little laugh. It was the first time since gabe was born that he’d been back at the higher building– he was just in and out, getting some stuff so he could do some work from home while on paternity leave. but gabriel was old enough to not be a sobbing mess when away from lucille, so andrew thought he’d bring the baby along in a little carrier, so his friends at work could meet him. “seems the place hasn’t burned down in my absence, so that’s nice to see at least.”

“i would ask why you’re here, but i was actively filming a reality show when i was pregnant with soeun, so i guess i can’t really talk about appropriate times for maternity and paternity leaves,” she commented with a little smile. “congratulations!”

“you know, terra is so weird. i don’t understand it half the time,” yujeong said. “they assign us colours or whatever, but then barely do anything with it? i guess maybe that’s a good thing, but i would have thought they’d dye my hair purple by this point…. i kind of want to see dajeong with yellow hair… that’d be kind of funny…”

“maybe they think that’s too on-the-nose?” kyungjoo offered. “too obvious. the lore you all have seems to be very intense. i’d be surprised if they were as bold and outright as that.”

“it’s so cool hearing songs come out that i did the topline and demo for,” seulki said with a grin, scrolling through the new releases on her phone. “like… i know how the song is going to go, but i get to discover it through someone else’s voice and hear how they put their spin on it. i feel like i make coloring books, and now i get to see how people interpret the lines.”

“what does that all entail?” kyungjoo asked curiously. “ i don’t think i’ve ever heard of that position before-- what do you do?”
