Alucard x Reader Cuddling Headcanons
He’s a pretty tall guy, 6 foot-ish, so you’re definitely laying in his arms.
He likes the feeling of grounding himself to you, and your body’s weight on top of him.
No matter what happens, there’s always a time late at night where he’s laying down with you on top of him in his arms, and he’s stroking his fingers through your hair or scratching your scalp gently.
His grip is loose but stern.
This guy will not let go.
You two just talk about your days, politics, your or his interests, problems, anything’s fun and enlightening to talk about with Alucard.
He’s also an incredible debater if you wanna get into some casual or subjective debate at that times.
I think things would probably be better if you’re the type of person to get warm fast, he’s cold all the time and it would help both of you that way.
He’ll relax with a hand against the thickness of your back or around your waist, whatever you prefer.
Soft pecks on the hair.
And god his voice is so gentle and breathy and attractive, he’ll sit there and talk in a mix of wit and politeness and laughter about whatever.
He’ll talk about how pretty the sun is, how lucky he is to be able to stand before it. Meanwhile, what inspired him to talk was the way the sun beams of it setting hit your skin, making it golden.
He finds beauty in everything about you, just don’t go snooping around his room before you find his writings describing how you take his breath away.
His heartbeat is always steady, pretty vacant but it feels so grounding to you.
Especially with how big his pecs are ahem.
Don’t fall asleep of he miiight put a few strands of his hair on your nose just to see you sneeze and giggle about it to himself.
sleepy mornings with Alucard. just laying in bed together, him behind you with an arm curled around your waist to draw you closer to his body. being half vampire he's not entirely freezing to the touch, but he does tend to run slightly cooler than the average person. it makes it all the more difficult to get up in the mornings when he's glued to you and soaking in the body heat you give off.
he tends to nuzzle at the nape of your neck as well, nosing along and inhaling the scent of your skin because to him that means home and safety. you're his anchor in the chaos of his life, a constant that he can rely on.
he treats you ever so gently because of that, often waking you up to the ticklish sensation of his lips pressed over the back of your shoulder, trailing feather light kisses across your skin as he tries to coax you to awareness. occasionally you'll feel the hard press of his fangs against your skin.
when you first got together, he was still rather hesitant about his more vampiric side. he knew what he was of course and knew how to use the abilities that side gave him, but never would he have even dreamed of pressing his fangs against someone's skin or teasing the points of them over someone's pulse point.
and yet with you he doesn't hesitate. he playfully flashes his teeth at you, making like he's going to bite you. he'll even go as far as to lightly nip at your nape, turning your skin pink as you finally open your eyes to blink at him blearily.
