Hey guys! Here is my tutorial: Undyne's Spear (Undertale)
~Good luck and I believe that you can make the spear better than me, hehe~
Step 1.
Out of thick cardboard, cut out two sides of the base of the spear (15 cm high approx).
Step 2.
Cut out two pairs of the front and the back parts. Each pair consists of two symmetrical pieces that have to be glued together. Note that you need additional bits for attaching the parts to the base and between themselves.
Step 3.
Join those parts to either side of the base with double sided tape or hot glue and secure them with masking tape.
Step 4.
To insert the spearhead into the rod (later on), take two halves of a small thick stick and glue them down the center of the spearhead from the opposite sides. Secure with masking tape again.
Step 5.
Using the papier mâché technique, cover the whole spearhead with layers of paper and glue (a glue layer after each paper layer, about 3-4 layers in total). Now let it dry and put another layer of masking tape over to make the surface smooth and ready for painting.
Step 6.
Paint the base and the front/back parts with acrylic paints.
Step 7.
Over the top of the dried paint use metallic acrylic / silver acrylic / pearl gouache or all of those to make it shiny. Let it dry and connect the spearhead to the rod with superglue (the thing I used was just a metal stick covered in plastic).
Step 8.
There you go! Now you can go hunting for some human souls, FUHUHU!!!
