Less Than a Month To Go!
Hi all-
It's been a while since I've posted anything here! There hasn't been much in the way of news or announcements, though, so it makes sense.
As of today, I have exactly 26 days left to enjoy Southern California before I check in to the Disney College Program on September 1. This summer has flown by - every year, summer seems to get shorter and shorter. But unlike previous years where the end of summer signaled a return to school, this year, summer ends on an airplane ride to Orlando to begin the incredible experience of working for the Walt Disney Company.
In the past few days, I have been completing my New Hire paperwork, which are a bunch of forms any new Disney Cast Member needs to fill out prior to beginning their employment with the Company. I reviewed the "Disney Look Book", which is a manual that describes how employees must "look" - from facial hair specifications and hairstyles, to fingernail length, even to color of sunglasses. There are a couple other manuals to read through, describing Company policies from A to Z. Lots to read!
Between now and September 1, I'll be taking a vacation to Jamaica with the family, relaxing, and packing for Florida. Just over three weeks until my adventure begins!
