Connor knew he’d come down with a cold the second he’d woken up; he spent the whole morning and afternoon cooped up in bed, trying to pass time by watching Netflix, but mainly feeling sorry for himself. It wasn’t until evening when he finally decided to come out of his bedroom, the rumbling of his empty stomach becoming unbearable. He staggered into the kitchen and began rummaging around for ibuprofen, cough drops– anything that would lessen the feeling of having gargled with razor blades. Ryver made her way down to the kitchen for a midnight snack where she ran into a the other searching through drawers. “I, uh- I think there’s some in the cabinet in the hallway bathroom. I had some last week for my cold, but I took that down like candy.” The blonde folded her arms across her chest, and leaned against the counter as she watched the other. “I hear a spoon full of honey is good for coughs, or that’s what my mom used to say.”
