The limits of this has not been tested, as Weiss' ordinary strength has yet to be tested. Relatives/Relationship: General James Ironwood (mentor), Pietro Polendina (father), Willow Schnee (mother), Rubio Rose (friend), Jaune Arc (boyfriend), Ozymandias (enemy). Semblance: None - This is the Spring Maiden, the three dimensional avatar of the Season Spring, one of the four main primordial conceptual deities of Remnant, with their true cosmic size dwarfing the universe. Nora possesses a strange connection to earth powers, having the ability to shake it with ease. But from this, the earth has divine gravity that draws down electrical energies from the storm far above in the sky, also granting her divine lightning powers. As well as increased strength, speed, flight, sense, and other more bizarre abilities like perception through time.

Introduced in chapter 19 of my Atlesian Superman AU. This version of Nora is an orphan girl who was found by the Vacuan authority as a chosen candidate to be coronated as the new Maiden for the Kingdom of the West. King Theodore in a desperate attempt to protect his Kingdom from a full Atlesian invasion, uses the divine corpse of the first Spring Maiden, a holy body of near perfect emanation of Spring that possesses so much power it could never rot even after death.

The body was drawn to Nora, and she was chosen to be Maiden. Before the ceremony could be truly finished, Nora heard Sun's cry of help on the battlefield, a cry sent from the future. So she teleported there, right on the battlefield to meet the Atlesian army head on, before later on facing Weiss Schnee the Atlesian Superman for the first time.

Nora is a devout believer in the Seasons. She feels great responsibility for the Kingdom that now worships her.

Slowly, little by little the humans began to drift away from Old World’s Lost Virtues. But not us Faunus – we stayed on our path. The path passed down by our forefathers to the sacred soil below. So I plan to take back our ancestral lands." PROFILE 1 Name: Adam Belladonna (Originally Taurus) Age: 20s Race: Faunus/Edenite Height: 6'4" (193 cm) Occupation: Rebel Leader Semblance: Unknown so far Relatives/Relationship: Ilia Amitola (adoptive sister), Blake Belladonna (self), Kali Belladonna (adoptive mother), Ghira Belladonna (adoptive father) PROFILE 2 Name: Blake Belladonna Age: 20s Race: Faunus/Edenite Height: 5'10" (178 cm) Occupation: None Semblance: Unknown so far Relatives/Relationship: Adam Belladonna (self) Adam is obsessed with the past, in contrast to many other characters like King Oz or Rubio who possess the power to see the future. He believes in the supremacy of a mythical ancient race called the Edenites, who he believes all Faunus are descendants of. It is said that the bloodlines of the people of the Valley are magical, but who's to say the same isn't true of other bloodlines? There is great power and importance in the blood of Eden, but who exactly is Blake Belladonna? How did King Oz separate Adam into another being? Can Blake find her own identity? Or is she forever bound to this man? Now to explain how this fits the contest prompt: While it's true that we did get a Blake vs Adam fight in the show proper, I myself am not a fan of how it was handled. But what's more is that I personally think we missed out on a "true" one on one between the two characters, with no outside interference. The drama here being: the fight between mentor and mentee, not that of lovers. Can Blake overcome Adam's strength and rise from his shadow? The man who taught her everything? For me, the devil's in the details for this fanart piece. As you can see, Blake is using a fighting style that is very much similar if not identical to Adam's own style. Which is where the drama is, where Blake tries her best to leave behind the past and evolve into something she could call her own. The past is the past, of course, and it will always follow her. So traces of what Adam taught her will always be within her fighting style. But once she is able to reconcile these feelings and become her true self, she may find peace. This is where the evolution of the fighting style comes in. Because in the show proper, Blake has never really gotten a meaningful upgrade or a power up. But I think this could be her opportunity. Maybe by tying her iconic rope/ribbon to the blade, she will be even deadlier, and of course, it will be reminiscent of the canon fighting style (though I still kinda like Adam's style, so I think combining the two would look very cool). Semblance: Burn - This woman is NOT a Faunus. But there is something strange about her Semblance, which grants her the ability to turn into a dragon-like hybrid being, slowly morphing her skin into scales, growing out antlers on her head, transforming her muscles, thus massively boosting her strength and speed to an insane degree. The limits to how much she will transform right now is unclear. Will she eventually fully morph into an animal? It is said that every mortal on the planet is descended from the ancient race of people known as the Edenites. It is also speculated that modern day Faunus holds a much stronger connection to those ancestors than modern day humans do.

Relatives/Relationship: Ruby Rose (sister), Raven Branwen (mother), Qrow Branwen (uncle), Summer Rose (adoptive mother)

"Look around you, Sir. I don’t have a home to come back to. We don’t have a home to come back to. You’re the one who needs to face the truth. Rubio – Ruby… would be better off without me. She has to live, and I don’t want her to carry my baggage. I will do what needs to be done, and I will not let anyone stop me – not even you."

Introduced in Chapter 6 my Atlesian Superman AU. This version of Yang is one filled with rage, one who has been following Raven the Pirate God around despite absolutely hating her. She wouldn't even call her mother, instead only by her first name. At least, that was the case until the Atlesian Superman Weiss Schnee destroyed Raven's fleet, cutting off Raven's right arm, and arrested her (Raven did manage to escape later on). This enraged her, now obsessed with trying to get revenge in the name of Raven. She hates Raven, but she just can't help it. It's as if she's still clinging on hope that they could one day reconcile. And the main target of Yang's rage is the Atlas Empire, especially the Superman who invaded and took over Vale 5 years ago. Yang blames Atlas for breaking up their family and country. Their father has passed away. Qrow isn't on the best term with Yang, resentful with the angry way she left the family, leaving Ruby behind to pursue his "bastard of a sister" as he calls her. Yang still loves Ruby, but she feels helpless and doesn't know what to do, doesn't quite know how to be a surrogate mother. So she lashes out at the world around, thinking that since Atlas has invaded they no longer have a home in Vale, so she left, foolishly thinking Ruby would be better off without her around. But the truth is she's lost, angry, and needs help.

Rubio/Ruby Rose - RWBY: The Atlesian Superman AU

Link to story: ALL CHAPTERS Name: Rubio "Ruby" Rose Gender: Unknown Age: 20s Height: 5'4" (163 cm) - female, 5'6" (168 cm) - male Occupation: None Semblance: Speed of Thought - by far one of the strangest abilities on Remnant. His Silver Eyes (future visions gifted from the primordial Season Summer) allow him to see into the future, and project an image of himself into the future in front of anyone he chooses. When he is projecting, only the targeted person can see the image projection, and he can appear in any form he wishes. Because it is an image projection, he cannot interact with anything. After a long period of meditation, his Semblance has evolved. Thus allowing him the dangerous ability to transport his physical body from the current position to wherever his image projection is, thus allowing him to "teleport" (kinda but not really) and move at the speed of thought. This is the speed he uses to race against the Atlesian Superman, circling the planet trillions of times in less time than it takes to blink. This also means he can travel into the future, and it also means he can morph his body into any form he wishes. Nobody is even sure if he is a man or a woman. Relatives/Relationship: Weiss Schnee (friend/rival), Qrow Branwen (uncle/mentor), Summer Rose (mother), Yang Xiao Long (sister) "I know the truth. And the truth is my mother is the Summer Maiden. The mortal avatar of the archetypal primordial concept of Summer, the God of the Hunt and War. These future sights are proof of Summer’s gift. Ancient holy books describe stories and myths of Summer stealing Winter’s moon, lighting it with her own magical sunlight to illuminate the future.” Introduced in chapter 2 of my Atlesian Superman AU. This is one of the most dangerous men on all of Remnant. Perhaps not even the Northern Giants, Qrow, or Raven can match the terrifying speed he possesses. Before his Semblance evolved, he was already very fast. And his future vision proves to be incredibly valuable and dangerous. It is unclear what the limits of the future vision is, assuming it even has one. Weiss trusts Rubio a great deal despite him being a Valean. Normally she would use the Semblance to grow tiny marbles into cannonballs. But when she goes all out, she would grow to the size of a giant, befitting the title of a Northern Giant. Relatives/Relationship: James Ironwood (brother-in-arms), Maru (brother-in-arms) "Such a strong and tall lady, six feet two, adorning a strict and sharp white military uniform... These people were the Northern Giants for a reason. And Giants would not fall so easily." Introduced in Chapter 8 of my Atlesian Superman AU. One of the most powerful Huntsmen on Remnant. A proud Atlesian, one third of the trio called the Northern Giants. In her case the title is a little more literal than Ironwood and Maru from being able to grow to giant size, rather than just being naturally tall. But the subject of giants of the past is a curious one. The gravitational force of the planet may have been part of what made them go extinct. Or do giants still walk among us? One of the most powerful Huntresses in Remnant, one who conquered the kingdom of Vacuo long ago in the name of her Lord God of Vale Ozymandias. She would soon be overpowered by the full might of the Atlas military backed by the strongest being on the planet. This version of Glynda is much more aggressive, ruthless, and she carries with her a hidden anger with in, ready to die for her country. Not much is known about this ability. Relationships: Ghost Vester (protégé), James Ironwood (brother-in-arms), Sam Vulf (sister-in-arms), Raven Branwen (archenemy) Introduced in Chapter 7 of my Atlesian Superman AU. One of the most powerful Huntsmen on Remnant. One third of the trio that makes up what's known as the Northern Giants alongside General Ironwood and General Vulf, with him and James known for their gunslinging prowess - known far and wide as the Gunslinger Duo. Possessing an ludicrous amount of Aura, which he uses to fire energy blasts from his finger gun. This is actually an old OC of mine that I've redesigned for this universe. The relationship between a Pirate God and a Fleet Admiral is something I very much like to explore. Both are meant to be foils for one another, both story wise and design/thematically speaking as well. She had always dressed so casually with little to no protective armor because she knew she was nigh invincible while on the sea. A woman in her dark red fancy bathrobe with nothing else but a pair of wooden sandals and a curved long blade by the side of her hip. Her Aura was almost unmatched. This arrogance was a privilege, a privilege she wanted to flaunt to the rest of the world – to show everybody how rich she truly was." Introduced in Chapter 5 of my Atlesian Superman AU. One of the most powerful Huntress in Remnant, a powerful pirate who commanded a vast many ships to rule the sea. One who would go on to lose her arm due to hubris. I always thought the idea of Raven in the original show was pretty bland. She was a generic "bandit" surrounded by other generic bandits with no personality whatsoever. So I kind of thought to expand on the concept, to reimagine her to be a pirate. Taking the concept of a supposed coward to the extreme to reimagine her as this money hungry warlord of the sea, it was only when facing a foe as powerful and as fast as the Superman in this story did she run out of places to run to. Summary: When the Vale Kingdom is invaded by Atlas, King Ozymandias, Prophet King of the Valley, learns of the existence of the most powerful creature on the planet. They call her the Superman, the first mortal to fly. Where did she come from? Is she even human? How is she so powerful? Does this power come from her Aura or something else entirely?

My goal with this series is reimagine and unify certain concepts and ideas back in the original show's magic system, trying to combine the separate ideas into one unifying system of magic. I would also like to explore certain characters in an Alternate Universe scenario to perhaps try to push them to their conceptual limits. Either it be trying to make their superpowers more interesting, or try to do something with their core themes, and so on.
