hello 2024 🫶
feel your feelings!!!! tap into them into your body and let them grow!!! grow!! grow!!! release it in whatever way that it looks like!! whether you cry or scream or dance or shake !! whatever it looks like!! please allow yourself to feel it all. it is okay.
i am a different person than who i was last year. my hair is longer and i cry less and i am stronger. i am a different person than who i was six months ago. i am free and different and am embracing change. i am a different person than who i was a month ago. i sit in the sunlight without worry and i don’t let things stick and i look up and smile. i am a different person than who i was last week. i explore more and look at the sky and laugh more. i am a different person than who i was yesterday. i let go and breathe. i am whole.
I really don't tolerate people talking crazy, words matter.
reminder that it’s okay to not use every last bit of energy you have in a day. you don’t have to push yourself to your absolute limit.
When a woman is consistently spoken to softly & treated gently, she becomes a new woman. You're helping her heal her nervous system, you're helping her heal generational trauma, you're allowing her feminine energy to flourish, you're helping her to remember who she is.
we really are on a journey. we are meant to feel lost because that is literally the point. we are going to uncover pieces of ourselves the longer that we are alive. trust the process and surrender! you will find your way!!
اللهم لا تعلق قلبي بما ليس لي
"I pray to you God to not make my heart love what is not mine."
cant believe we live in a reality where getting a silly iced drink can set you back 7 dollars. it's like they want me dead
Another story from my mother: the importance of the Soft Life so you don't die for nothing. My mother had an ambitious neighbor, this lady would commute back and forth from Montreal (two hour commute) but live in Ottawa because lower taxes, ran for office in Montreal (though lost) and work like crazy in Montreal since her daughter grew up. She had her daughter young and was an ambitious workoholic pack donkey single mother so when her child left the nest she needed to get herself super busy and got the job in Montreal. And when her child was a teenager she used the free time with her daughter in activities to work harder, be more ambitious.
She said this woman loved her work, didn't take downtime and loved how people looked to her being a high achiever.
Let's call her Chantalle -Chantalle gave up on dating eventually because she loved work too much and boyfriends complained she had little time for them. By the time she met my parents she was alone. She says "it never works out with m👕n. Should I invest my life in m👕n or a career? A career won't ever wake up and tell you 'I don't love you anymore."
Chantalle was so used to being a pack donkey as a single mother than when her kid left the nest she got bored. She had her daughter early with a boyfriend by accident in college and decided to keep the kid and study (in canada there is welfare), and then work.
So one day a week after Chantalle turned 49, Chantalle did not leave the home for two days and her car was parked very awkwardly like a drunk person... must be exhaustion. So my parents' neighbors that live immediately next to Chantalle's house called her daughter on the third day to check on her. Her daughter called and called, no answer. So her daughter came and knocked. Nothing. Her daughter and her daughter's partner broke down the door and found Chantalle dead, and her decaying corpse had been there for three days.
So Chantalle's entire life had been there for work work work. She came home exhausted and died alone, likely of a heart attack. She kept working and was she happy? Not really. She was always sacrificing today for the next promotion, next promotion and never living. Our bodies are not built for that. Romanticize your life and start living, enjoying the day. We only have one life. Of course its important to put an effort to level up, but pace yourself and don't exhaust yourself and don't forget to enjoy yourself and smell the flowers

What’s meant for me will always find it’s way to me. I love being the prize. I am the source of boundless joy & I deserve everything I desire.
being well mannered is such a beautiful quality. those that choose their words with consideration for the feelings of others. those that carry themselves with humility and modesty. it’s like elegance spills from their mouth when they speak.
