for both of you i recommend using theoi.com as a reference bcs it not only is easy to navigate but it has an encyclopedic list of sources for different myths and variations and cults and stories and gods. it’s not the end all be all of myth but it IS a good jumping point i find and have seen recommended for beginners :)
