man. I often forget, by technical definitions, I am disabled I have celiac disease and type 1 diabetes. and they haven't impacted my life as heavily as I think they have until they Knock Me On The Ass. I was diagnosed with both at 15/16 years old, and have been managing 90% on my own ever since. I have great blood sugar readings, and celiac only causes me minor problems, both due to keeping a very very simple diet. but FUCK dude. when it gets bad it gets bad. like when my blood sugar went into the 30s (~540) for an entire day, causing insane nausea and keeping me in bed all day. I was sure I had ketones, and couldn't check because I'd never had those before. and I didn't have the right devices to check them. At least post-diagnosis! And when some poor overworked service worker accidentally gave me gluten bread, or at least, contaminated bread instead of gluten free bread on my sandwich and I couldnt do anything for the rest of the day Its so weird being healthy most of the time and then just randomly kicked on my ass once and a while! I'm so fuckin new to all this, man !!! I need people to talk to about this stuff!!!

celiac disease is such a fucking nightmare to have when you live with people who do not care like thank you for using my pot that I bought for my food so that I didn't get cross-contaminated and end up on the floor in massive amounts of pain. again. thanks. I really do love rolling on the floor, unable to do anything for hours because of your incompetence. thanks try to get people to take my chronic illness seriously (impossible challenge) (don't try at 3am)

Tonight, at the San Diego Zoo, our favorite bots were as entertaining as ever!  Here they are in the zoo’s final procession at the end of the night battling and/or eating bubbles.  Even after four awesome sets in the hot June sunshine they are still at the top of their game!!!  Way to go, guys!  Thank you for being so much fun to watch (and listen to and sing along with, as well).  We love you.
