ok. Random list of things that walter manor has within it. To me
1) pneumatic messaging tubes. Throughout the Whole building. Anywhere you go. They're not used to much since the advent of The World Wide Web but I imagine some of the Walter workers use them for office pranks and such
2) monorail. Probably installed in the fifties or sixties which was a terrible financial decision on the part of the company. It can take you to subfloor -12b in a jiffy tho!
3) speaking of that, weird subfloors! With weird names and classifications! Tons of them! Some of them aren't even documented! The Miasmic Magic Radiation Weirdness just keeps on growing floors!
4) incorrect maps and floorplans. Because of the. Topological weirdness of the building some employees have tried to document it but. This does not work. They certainly do try though
5) absolutely huge purpose built foundry. With dozens and dozens of different moulds for the robots. Rabbit is the most frequent visitor to this neck of the Walter manor because she keeps breaking her faceplate. In my mind this is because for some reason they keep letting her drive the Company Car and well. This robot does not have a driving licence. But who knows on Saturdays maybe she had to fend off a Freak Dinosaur Incident. Who knows....
6) the backrooms (self explanatory)
7) guy fiery clone (self explanatory)
8) portal room! For portals! Do they work properly? Um. Here, you have a try and let's find out together but I will be at a safe distance away literally don't worry about it it's fine people have come through the portal with most of their limbs before so really it should be completely -
9) purpose built go kart racing track. For employee enrichment. Walter Robotics is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the go karts have been replaced
10) drum-o manufacturing plant. How do you think they're paying for all of this?
11) blue matter harvesting... Vat? Well? Chamber? All three? At the same time? Those are company secrets so you'll never know. All you need to know is that you shouldnt worry about the fact that your skin and hair are becoming colours that they previously weren't. It's legiterally fine
12) labs! Quite a few of them! Not the dog, the experimental facility. Just to be clear. These are where the Gizmos and Doodads and Whatchamacallits of Walter Robotics are cooked up. And where six has to regularly make startling new innovations in mechanical science to cover the fine motor controls necessary to be really really good at playing video games. As per the requests of one Spine Walter. For the purposes of being really really good at playing video games.
13) rule number thirteen. Uh. Have fun and be yourself. Wait hangon these aren't rules these are things in the manor. Damn. Fooled again.
14) extremely spooky containment facility for When Things Go Wrong Really Badly. The ethics of this are questionable but it is still there in case of the possibility that Things Go Wrong Really Badly
15) burger king foot lettuce
16) aquarium. Because I think zer0 would like that. Why? Because I said so. I mean just thing about it. he's exactly the kind of guy who would have an incredible time looking at creatures. He's a creatures guy. Bonus points if the creatures are weird mechanisms made over the years.
17) rickety and terrifying lifts and stairwells. Everywhere. Safety precautions? Think good thoughts and pray in whatever divine direction you feel will let you keep all of your appendages.
Ok that's kind of it but I'd love to see if anyone else has any other thoughts on the topic of Cool Things that are inside of walter manor <3 ^^
