Life update I guess

Had back surgery in March, it went really well. I feel 98% like me. I just get a little stiff if I'm in one position too long, and I packed on 40lbs.

Davie starts school this September at a church and Amelia is still being home schooled at my besties.

I don't really know what else to talk about...

I feel like this is such an irrational fear but it's always been one of my fears.

Back story: my nextdoor neighbor got her car broken into and she had her wallet in there. They took all her credit cards and tossed her wallet on her front porch. Also same night the assholes took a pumpkin off my other neighbors doorstep and shattered her windshield!

When you enter my subdivision there's single family homes before our townhouses. Well someone's brand new car was on fucking blocks with the tires stolen

The town over from us is having attempted brake ins and child abductions. Like what the fuck is wrong with people?

So my fear is I'm going to get fucking kidnapped. Now I kind of shook that fear away until now. Now that I'm practically disabled (can't run, i don't walk I limp, and can't fight back) until I get surgery, I'm too scared to bring in my trash can and get the mail 😨😨😨😨😨😨😰😰😰😰😰😰

The mail can wait, the can needs to come in....I'm going to make the dog come with me.... He's useless but in my mind he's a deterrent...I mean he would bite someone...but he's little 😧

So all my back problems are from that right there! I ruptured my disc. I of course had to be different and instead of on a side I ruptured in the center so I have to have that chunk of bone removed and have the blob of popped disc goo removed. Unfortunately not until February. Yay for my family can come down and help out but boo for having to wait so long. I'm not in shit tons of pain just uncomfortable. The sciatica is what drives me bonkers. Most days are better than others. As long as I take Ibuprofen around 4-5am when I actually wake up I'm not in much pain. So that's a Sarah update. The kids are great, very helpful but giant mess makers. We had a nice low key Boston market Thanksgiving.

Well, messed my back up again. Friday I will get an MRI and the following Thursday I will get my diagnosis. Keep all your crossables crossed that it's not something that needs sugical intervention.

My son is smearing yogurt all over himself (hair included) and my daughter is dancing while eating nilla waffers.

Some day I'll have this house clean.

I seriously just had a night of just pampering myself with no distractions. It was amazing. We went to an adult birthday party today with the kids (because God forbid we allow anyone to ever watch our children Except my mom or dad who LIVE IN CONNECTICUT) and they didn't nap. We have been to a party at their house before (they have a hairless cat named Harry 😂😂) and the kids are usually really awesome there. Bonus they weren't the only kids, and the other parents were awesome. So when we got home Davie passed out as soon as his little body hit his bed. Bonus all he ate was sugar and still went to bed no problems. And Dave took Mia to the movie at the pool night. So I was kind of alone, it was magical! I washed my hair, did a face mask then hopped in the shower to rinse it off, did all my face crap and then did my toe nails and finger nails! All gel polish :) Magical

I have a diagnosis for my stupid back. It's a bulging disc with sciatica on both sides. I'm on Prednisone now and it's magical. I didn't realize how much the pain was sucking the energy and life out of me

Now that Amelia is sleeping through the night all I'd like is one damn night of un interrupted sleep...but no my husband has to fucking snore all damn night long. I'm going to be the news....

Why is it my children feel the need to be 10x louder and fight when I'm in the phone? They were quietly playing and happy right before the phone rang. Dave's getting a new contract or whatever and we are trying to figure out if I'm a veteran or not. Also I was trying to give him the kids socials. Ugh now that I'm off the phone the kids are being quiet again... Davie is playing with bubble wrap and Amelia is applying "LipSense" to her donky. It's actually an empty tube of glossy gloss I put a little water in for her to pretend she's "wearing Lippies like mommy" Now it's time for the pool as soon as I finish my coffee

It's been forever since I've posted on here. Update I guess The kids Amelia She's 3 guys! How did that happen? We're still in the process of finding a preschool for her. We did find the perfect one but they had to close due to it being a financial burden on the church. Potty trained except at night. She still naps on occasion. She never listens ever and is unbelievably sassy... She's amazing :) her favorite color is purple and pink right now. Her favorite food is tomatoes (seriously she will eat one like it's an apple!) She is in 4t/5t clothing and never stops talking 😂. She loves Davie and still calls him "Dee" Davie He is going to be 2 on Monday! How on Earth did that happen so fast? He talks like crazy and learns things way too fast. He is an escape artist and unbelievably strong. We just got rid of the pacifiers for day time and tomorrow night might be the last time. He's been chewing huge holes in them and I worry he will choke. He wants to start potty training, and if he's naked he will run to the potty and use it. I'm going about it the same way we did with Amelia and just letting him take charge. He calls Amelia either Davie or Mia, and he always asks where she is when he wakes up. He's my snuggler. Me I'm ok, I threw my back out again about 2 weeks ago. I had been doing some fitness challenges before hand so it wasn't as bad of a sprain this time. Since my first back injury I've put on some weight and it's definitely putting a strain on my back more. Next week I should be able to hit up the gym again! I still sell for Buskins Leggings, and I have signed on to be a distributor for senegence (LipSense!) And I absolutely love it. It's way too much fun. Dave He's good, working way too much as always. He is now a reserve police officer and goes out and directs traffic on Friday evenings. He just ran a tough mudder on Saturday. He's still very involved with our little HOA and our larger HOA. Dexter Poor old man is getting spoiled rotten by the kids! He's 10 now! My puppy isnt a puppy anymore. He's awesome with the kids, if they start fighting he get between the to brake it up. He's like a little gray fuzzy daddy. The kids feed him everything they don't want to eat so he's quite plump :( at night he checks on them by sniffing under their doors before we go to bed. Zoie She's become more antisocial with age. She only likes me and Amelia now, and never comes upstairs anymore. I with she would just so we can cuddle on the couch, but she just doesn't like coming up. We have fish now. I might have talked about it back when Amelia got her fish for her birthday last year, but that fish died a year to the day! I let her pick out a new one and some guppies. That's been pretty cool, her new fish's name is blueberry (she picked it out) My best friend who lived 4 houses down from us moved to Germany for 3 years so that's been awful! I still cry because I miss her and her babies so much. As silly as it sounds I felt like her kids were mine too. We would always say when all 4 of them were playing in the pool "look at our kids" and her shy daughter was more comfortable with me than her own Grandma. I'm crying now as I type this. God I miss them! I'm more sad for Amelia and Davie. Amelia's best friend is gone and Davie has no friends that are boys. I mean we have been trying to get closer to some other moms that aren't in out little mini moms group (4 3yr old girls a 18m old girl, 2 yr old boy, and a 10m old boy..and 1 baby boy due in November!). They come back to visit in August 😊 I'm super excited to see them! I don't know what else to talk about. Having 2 toddlers who are very free spirited is exhausting while running 2 little direct sales business and being an awesome mom and wife. My house is a hot mess lol oh and my MIL will be here for an entire week next week 😵😵😵
