Except peer pressure of getting good marks @ school from parents and teachers, there was absolutely no real life pressure during childhood. I rem with 5 rupees in my pocket.. going to that little corner tuck shop with my gang.. you pick any confectionery it was 5p. (Santra Goli, Rasgulla, Chakodi, yellow pipes and more..) had lived life prince size.. with fellow friends with my hands over their shoulders..still prevailing though 😉 Woah! Those beautiful days.. right components in life, right people to gel.. ample time for everything.. you're pellucid standing proudly on dads feet.. Remembering some of my childhood webseries.. ➡️Who all played thondi cricket demanding twice batting coz thats your bat.. 😆 ➡️Who all practiced to make best Manja in town during Kite festival 😆 ➡️Who all used 1rupee per hour cycle fleet service and used 1hr thoughroly 😆 ➡️Who all drank water through the rusted handpumps after winning the spinning top (lattu) tournament 😆 ➡️Who all cross lit the rockets during Diwali to that neighbour's house who always refused to give the cricket ball when you hit them. 😆 ➡️Who all remember Dollops ice-creams, Smacking Milk Powder during summer holidays, Le-sancy soap etc., 😄 I vaguely remember I was in 3rd class.. my english teacher called me Mischievous boy.. for knowingly unknown reasons.. I still remember how he dropped out of 2008 election bid after receiving less than 1% votes in Iowa Democratic Presidential Caucus - where Obama pulled off a stunning victory. Obama was at school when Biden joined politics. He started his 1st presidential run in 1988 elections from Delaware. The point to understand herein is - Did he know that day while stepping down in 2008 - that only in a matter of 12 years - his political fortunes will change so drastically? If you look at the chart.. swiggy basically spent 3.3 rupees to make a revenue of 1 rupee, whereas zomato spent 2.4 rupee to make a revenue of INR 1 rupee and the irony is it's revenue and not profit! All startups say that as we scale up and become big, we will be profitable. Do you think food delivery revenue will shoot up 60x in India soon?
