In fact, I find even when I "take a break" from feeding so much, my health gets worse. So in my return expect more. Ah, thank you. That is why I’ve made this blog compiling my thoughts and findings in my studies. I find the lack of sexual vampirism discussions funny. Black Veils credits Lilith as "the first vampire/mother of vampires" sometimes but then say nothing about our existence as incubi and succubi with earthly bodies. It kind of makes me think, "So it’s okay to talk about us when human society likes one succubus they use in pop culture? But if we come out we’re faking our hunger to get into their pants and should drink bl0od and consume energy like the rest of them". It’s all just sanitized so they can get tourist money in their events and not scare non-vampires for "damage control".

That being said, I do hope you enjoy reading my works. I’m working on alot of posts to speak about vampyre experiences on a medical, philosophical and theological then by extension folkloric level more soon.

Most of us know we are vampires by an intense hunger that gets satiated by the life force energy of someone else. I happened to have realized I get satiated by eating lust and blood. The way people taste never ceases to amaze me. Pine and smoke and wild air rolls down my tongue, settles inside me like a warm meal. It keeps me going, slow, steady, comforting. Mint and cheap alcohol and bubblegum burns my throat, the taste of a club at 1 am, and it leaves me vibrating, a high that lasts for days. Like I'm bouncing off the walls. It's so addicting. Intoxicating. Every time I taste someone I just want to drink them and consume them until I'm full, until I'm finally satisfied.

The Hunger

Despite all of the many differences of opinion throughout the larger vampire community, one thing that just about everyone will agree on is that the need to feed is the defining characteristic of a vampire. But why do we hunger? This question is right up there with “What causes vampirism?” because it is essentially the same question. The desire to feed is the common denominator among all varieties of vampiric worldview. So, why do we feel the hunger and need to consume the life of others?

My perspective is that we hunger and feed to instigate processes of transformation both within ourselves and within those we feed upon. Nature is one thing consuming another thing and Nature does not stop at the boundaries of the physical world. In the physical world we have animals feeding on plants, animals feeding on those animals, and then various microorganisms that “feed” on virtually everything. Even the plants at the beginning of the cycle “feed” on the water and nutrients in the soil and the energy of the sun. This entire web of life is a chain of transformation. One thing is transformed into another thing, eventually ending up back at the beginning. The process begins again slightly differently as organisms evolve and time marches on.

Now shift this perspective to the metaphysical or spiritual world. Feeding on another person may be likened to the practice of bloodletting to balance the humors or busting up a clog in a stream to clear out stagnant water. Some of you may be familiar with the concept of a blockage within the energy meridians or chakra system. By feeding on an individual we not only take in what we hunger for and maintain our own vitality but we release stagnant “waters” within the person we are feeding from, allowing their own natural processes to rejuvenate them with clear running water. Being fed upon provides an outlet and may facilitate catharsis in the aware donor. Similarly, the infusion of new vitality and energy into the vampire flushes their own system to allow for clearing out blockages and stagnation.

Instead of viewing vampirism and the hunger as a curse I suggest we see it for what it is: another of Nature’s mechanisms for transformation that ushers in the next cycle. With the next cycle comes the next step in our development as living parts of a constantly changing cosmos.

So with Irl Vampirsm while complaining is a viable option I mean everyone’s opinions are different!

I do tend to see more “you really don’t want to be a vampyre!” Or “I wouldn’t wish it on anyone!” Pop up more often than not.

 Yet, some of us actually really enjoy our IRL vampirism, needing Energy, Blood or what have you can come across as an annoying extra need or debilitating for some.

For others it can be a validating, affirming or sometimes even akin to a spiritual experience.

Vampirism should be Seen as less of a problem and more just a condition we can learn and grow from.

Just like you wouldn’t shame a hypoglycaemic for needing glucose, us vampyres shouldn’t shame ourselves for needing blood, energy or what have you. 

it is a necessary part of ourselves and once we start learning that, we can come to terms with it and see it less as a curse or a burden, and just an extra thing our body happens to need.

Feeding two vampires and noticing the differences between how we feel when they drink from us. One of them, it feels like soft companionship, I feel as if I am caregiving for him when he feeds. It's a warm, fuzzy sort of sensation. She drinks carefully, and like she's thanking me with each drop that comes out.

With my owner, however, it's an instant aphrodisiac. Heated and arousing, I can feel the way that it is constantly holding itself back from draining me. The tension of its self discipline and my desire to let it do whatever it pleases. Its still very comforting, but in the way where I'd happily give over anything it asks of me.

Watching M Belanger's live was so refreshing. They're right, there's still a weird vampyre stigma in spirituality. You either see "vampires are all evil and want to take away your energy without our knowledge" or "Vampires aren't real you're just playing dress up. Witchcraft might be, though". So much of modern witchcraft is just the exact glamour magick and otherworldly connections that otherkin and vampyres have. Stigmatizing "pop culture witchcraft" is a bit hypocritical too when alot of the old 16th century grimoires are from legends told over and over again from cultures all over the world, or just the Bible.

You’re right. There’s a lot of things I blame for this:

Mrs R!ce’s* vampire book(s) is what many people base their knowledge of vampirism on including fellow vampires. They are narcissistic, sadistic and think they’re superior. Her fans say she’s canonically said that vampires lose their ability to make art or create like humans do. They just stiffen into statues of their living selves to be immortalized as they age. If that’s their goal of what it means to be a vampire then it’s pretty bleak if you think about it. I wouldn’t want to philosophically subscribe to that energetic current so I chose not to.

Some think not condoning sanguinarian practice is gonna both protect people from blood borne pathogens and make the community look better in the eyes of non-vamps so it can be mainstream and not as ‘terrifying’ to people who want it for the novelty. It worked somewhat a/m/c did a 1wtv show promo with the endles night vampire ball.

They talk mainly about psi vamps for ‘the branding’ to humans. I understand the need for not talking about it because you don’t want someone to get hurt because they didn’t heed warnings about medical safety when sang feeding but ‘the newly awakened ones’ need guidance too. I’m just glad there’s at least some resources out there for us like the red cellar even if it’s a hit or miss in books.

Not to mention there’s rarely talk of incubus and succubus vampires like me and if there is they think it’s "just a sex thing" or just use our name when mentioning a new name for vampiric astral projection. How are these people gonna mention how much they love the Jewish Succubus Lilith and not care about her sanguine children walking among you?

Is there any sort of benefits plan to donors who don't want immortality but maybe just slightly better health in one specific area?

I'm not talking a full drain donor, I'm talking the kind of regular donor who gives blood bank amounts every week from x to end of life.

Do you guys offer competitive packages for these donors?

For example, the human spine is very commonly a source of pain and discomfort in humans. Would regular donations entitle said donor to .... One vial of 3 drops of vampire blood? Free chiropractic adjustments by the vampires?

What's in it for donors? What kind of compensation will you be offering?

Hi thank you for sending in this anon, before joining the vampire community I wasn't aware that so many people thought that we vampires are truly the mythical creatures.

I'll try to answer your questions and explain the relationship between donor/vampire to the best of my ability.

Firstly, we vampires are not mythical creatures with superhuman qualities, the term vampire is associated with the community due to many things, the lifestylers, rp players, vampirekin, sanguinarian, etc... but we aren't vampires, we're common people with normal lives who just happen to drink blood or absorb energy.

So to begin, no donor would be granted immortality or better health, because we can't grant it. Donors can be compensated for their blood/energy giving, but never with supernatural powers (we don't have them).

Donors and the person feeding off them must discuss the arrangements of their situation but never is a donor going to be fully drained (it would kill them) nor are they expected to donate blood bank levels of blood once per week, seeing as it would be unhealthy (the recommendation for biological males when donating to blood banks is once every 3 months while for females is once every 4 months).

Compensation must also be discussed, if the donor expects any and if yes in what kind, monetary, favour based, etc...

Any vampire who tries to offer you something of supernatural origin (like vampire blood, we have normal human blood) in exchange for your blood or energy is trying to take advantage of you and should be avoided. Especially since most of the vampire community follows a moral code and donors right are seen as of extreme importance, it can be found in The Vampire Ethos and in The Donor Bill of Rights as well as in many other articles and posts across all internet.

I've seen so much talk about the vampyre community in July alone to the point where it's interesting. I started talking about my experiences because lust vampires are barely mentioned unless it's to tell you how "scary" we are now people are starting to be vocal. This video is more nuanced (I havent heard a non-vampire mention med sangs in awhile). They bring good points about the cons of the vampire community as it stands right now. Unfortunately, there's horrible people in every subculture but you can feed on negative energy while simultaneously healing them.

Insane idea perhaps, but I'm starting to wonder if I should write a book. Most of the books on vampire culture I've picked up involve a lot of magic and/or poorly understood Egyptian mythology. I'm not Christian, I'm not Kemetic, and I have no interest in being either of those things.

I understand why they're so heavily rooted in the overarching culture, but I've never really been part of the wider vampire community. The things I value because of being a vampire, and the things I have learned by being a vampire, seem rarely if ever addressed.
