Again, this seemingly confused and scared little girl switched airs. Once more, shades of innocence held stern as a painting. Changing to fit certain situations near perfection, answers commoners would drool to here. Service in exchange to gather what is needed, an actor by her own rights. No amount of horseplay could cover this desire to be coddled. A pamper brat should she seek it. Spoiled is was it seems, manipulative, learning. To be read in the same face as books was to look down on someone. But could she see her own actions for what they were?
"Tch!" Clicking of tongue to signify limits, lip quivering in sheer outrage. All things about her were on a scale of mystery. He wished to dig deeper than what he heard. Soft voice spoken, nervousness present in emotion. A man lost in madness on more than one occasion could not hold his frustration! He’d ask her name, yet received nothing. . “I’ve had enough of this! You have forfeited your life!" Joints cracked an echo from sheer force, hands ready to crush a small skull. He would begin his violence at any moment..
Suddenly, image of a slender girl became a daze, eyes shifting from one side to another. Malice and confusion formed in stomach, left hand gripping at abdomen. Mitsunari began to feel ill — disgust in what stood before him. Little by little, the image would fade to another. A step back in astonishment would take him entirely. Pale skin, emerald hair, and small figure shifted to creature beyond his comprehension appeared to have taken her whole. "I don’t mean to… Scare you!” replays over and over within his head. The very psyche she worried for having gone to shit.
Legs felt heavy, arms growing numb, his body reacting in a disgusting form. Crippled limbs reaches for head, a pulsating sensation overtaking his entire being the moment he gotten closer. Twisting and turning to regain himself failed, tripping to nearest wall to him aiding in balance. Bloody screams escaped the man, haunted by something so repulsive it frightened him. Bashing of his skull commences, blood dripping to floor, stains left behind. Mitsunari lost himself as he would in his days of old.
Before long, he would come to an end. Silence enveloping scene without fight. Hung over was the samurai, fractured bones no less. In his state the steps taken would start again, his advancing towards the girl. Returned had her soft skin, fear without a doubt present after events… Shock must have shown on her face. A grin on his.
A mixture of things enveloped in such a such moment. Saya had skipped over formalities again, and the other seemed annoyed by some sort of mixture of that and her personality. As if he was searching for something to hate her for, something so he had an excuse to detest her for. Was the being before her more of a demon than a human? Had she fooled herself once again into thinking that this human was just that, a human.
"My life?" He snapped so quickly, the albino's composure that seemed held back finally leaked about. Saya wrapped her arms around herself, trying to figure out how she should react in such moments. Violence was something the other had yet to process fully or understand. Just as her quivering form shook, Mitsunari stopped. Eyes widened so suddenly, as he seemed to have finally come to terms with her true form.

Turning to face the young girl caused for much needed eye contact. No matter where he looked, it was the appearance of young girl. Short in stature, lacking in muscle tone, curves almost nonexistent. Earlier, had she not took the role of a curious child? She would not be the first to tag along on one of his walks, roaring to be left alone resulting in crying and fleeing. A youth, Anna, gained fondness through her unique personality, void of normal emotions. But never had a child expressed themselves as such.
Squints thrown towards her, a devilish tone capturing thoughts. Were she of older appearance, he’d have dedicated a sword to be slashed at throat. “Wish to learn…?" he retorted, repeating that of which she said. Gut feeling took control, he’d planned on storming off into a faster pace, surely losing an unwanted companion. Instead, ears grew sharp, eyes staring a dagger. Mature could not describe a demon in flesh such as this girl. Mitsunari’s ignorant of details regarding true form, baffled by her words.
"What may you possibly learn from following me? You speak as though you’ve grown an interest in me no child would." Lying is not a trait Mitsunari wishes to uphold himself, blunt nature coming forth. “Who are you? I seek to inquire of your bizarre interest in me as well." For all those who had were darker being themselves. Murders and tyrants. Innocent and pure. All the same to his darkness.
Something about the other reeked of darkness, or of something so deeply entrenched in feelings that his own human psyche seemed warped. It was only a wonder how he didn't manage to see Saya for who she truly is. Saya herself, finding this confrontation suddenly odd. Her humanistic kind personality developed so deeply after her time spent with fuminori twisting itself as quickly as she met him. Almost as if she adapted to whoever she met, where ever she was; a grim face lined with sudden distaste in the other reflected on her face.
It wouldnt be doubtful to say that she was slightly scared, she had no intention of fighting. Or harming anyone, rather with the gift that the scientists gave her and the personality of a human still entwined in her system. She wanted to live a normal life, "Ahhh--.... Well... Umm..."
Slightly confused, seeing that she thought her personality matched well with any curious child. Again, her alien tendencies seeped through, her lack of understanding the versatile knack of human kinda. And rather the lack of such versatile actions when looking someone of her age. Saya understood his alarm, with little thought on the matter. Yet, only seemed to find herself stuck with this predicament.
"It's just rare that someone like you can hold themselves intact is all, that is why I found interest." Flashbacks of the first times she would scare the mental patients seemed to come back. She couldn't help but find some resemblance to him, and them. Even just by looking at him and studying his reactions. Everything about him seemed indifferent to most human encounters. There had to be something wrong with him--or so as deemed by her human counterparts who wrote down as such in the mount of psychology books she read, "I don't mean to... Scare you!"
Innocence reflected in her eyes again, partially faked yet she had no intentions as she said to hurt him. Rather, he interested in. Seeping desires to understand him further drove the confused alien to follow, to strike up the question, and perhaps to continue regardless of his choice. That is, unless he grew violent.

★ } “Oh! That’s good!” he replied, smile growing even wider. The stranger’s comment on ‘you are very nice so I’ll be nice~’ was a sure sign she wasn’t any threat, so Nagisa lowered his hands, putting his defenses down. He had his trusty paddle board at his side; if she decided to do anything, he had the cushiony floater for defense. Not very good defense, but defense regardless. “You look pretty tough, anyway, so I’m sure no one would dare hurt you!”
With his last statement, hopefully any of her intentions of harming the swimmer disappeared. It’d be a shame to be injured during on of his first days in the Hive. Especially when Nagisa still had intentions of finding his friends if they were here. There was no way he could be alone in this place. Right…?
Either way, his words seemed to have taken effect, as the girl offered help. So she really was sweet after all! Eyes brightening and excitement boiling, Nagisa nodded his head eagerly.
“I’m just trying to get around! I don’t know where I’m going, to be honest, but—” The blond’s sentence was cut off by a sudden growling stomach. His growling stomach. “O-Oh… uh…” Looking for the others would have to wait. “Do you know anywhere that sells good pizza?”
The cute light colored hair that shuffled around his face had been such an attractive trait. His expressions were so wide and intricate, reflecting all sorts of emotions Saya didn't think possible of someone to have. Human beings were surely interesting, her minuscule amount of info on their interactions and humanistic personalities were only what she had read of. Managing to form her own personality because of that, but this was different.
"Hehe!" Saya couldn't help but find herself enthralled by his sense of wording. His little joke bringing a cute smile to her face as she resumed to listen and think to herself several different things on the matters at hand. Asking the question had been a good idea, the first step to a lasting conversation. As his stomach grumbled, and he then asked for pizza Saya gave the other a questionable look, "Pizza?"
"What is pizzas!?" Innocence reflected on her face, head tilted looking up at the other. What was this pizza he spoke of? More importantly, the stomach making a noise had been recognized as the other being hungry. Perhaps he was hungry for this pizza substance, was this a type of thing that humans made? Or was he not human at all! She would soon learn what a pizza is.

Even as he asked for forgiveness, he did not know what to expect. The female had identified him and slowly made her was around. He didn’t move for he found no reason, allowing her to do what she believed. This must have been his punishment or something of the sort. Calmly keeping his composure as he listened to her steps around him, he only waited before she was in his view of sight. He was enthused to see that his actions were not in vain and that she was fine, even okay with the fact that he had knocked into her person.
❝You shouldn’t place all the blame on your person, it was my own fault. I don’t mind taking the blame placed on me.❞ A light chuckle left from his lips, it would have been rude for her to take whatever came with his fault. He was thinking of so much that even he wasn’t paying attention. Her inquiry on his race was something he was unfamiliar with since back home, it wasn’t anything to question. Though being in a new place, he should have found that phrase to be something common he would have to get use to hearing.
❝Yes, I’m not human. I’m from the Demon Clan so I’m hence the name.❞ He didn’t think that would be a big deal, his violet hues keeping the other’s own company. He could have asked her the same, of course that would have been rude as well. He hardly knew her enough to ask about who she was, she could have been a child of norm and was just going off his appearance. His hand used to push his hair behind one pointed ear, a smile still placed as he waited to say anything else.
❝Surely I’m not the first person like this you have seen.❞
Saya found his need to share the blame slightly interesting, what kind gestures. Or perhaps he undermined other feelings, Saya would not know this really. As her experience with people had still been new, her widely and now adapting behavior would soon learn of the vastly different personalities people were capable of holding. However, she found this man held only one and had every intention of making sure she felt comfort by ease or through kindness.
"Demon clan...?" Saya stared at him half expecting him to continue. She already thought hard however, recalling the inferences on books she had read. The few mentions of demons, the fact that scientists were bringing beings from all over, the ideas enticed her. Expression reflecting so, especially as she reached over touching his horn like appendages, "CUUUTE!"
Was it cute, she wondered if her explanation of the matter had been appropriate. For her it was, making her find some relation to him. As he was not human, like her. Unlike her though, she needed to act as if she were. By means of biological means, as well as what she was borne to and learned of first. Saya was human by all definition, though her alien tendencies would creep out. She adapted their method of human ethics first most, and proclaimed herself as one,"I've seen a few! But you are different from them, see the horns are different. Look around. Those people look like regular humans to me!!"
The alien spun around pointing to all the common people minding themselves, and being sure not to get in there way. Rather, wanting nothing to do with them.
ops i thought i was on my main HAHAH)))))
that’s played by both commoners and nobility alike. Basically, there are a number of pieces - some pawns, some of greater importance like this Queen here." Reaching into his pocket, the prince produced a white Queen. He tended to keep chess pieces on his person for dramatic use, but this situation called for it apparently. “Basically, by taking turns and moving your pieces according to the rules, you need to manipulate the game in your favor until your opponent’s King can no longer move. That is checkmate, and that means you win."
Saya listened intently, this game had been something she faintly heard of but never part took in to play. She had heard moments of it being a sport, leagues sprouting all about to part take in such endeavors. The alien wondered if she could take part in herself, and master such interesting things that human kind seemed to create, "This sounds interesting, would you play with me then! Teach me how the rules are. Im guessing youre a master at this! Especially if you carry one of the pieces around with you!"
"I wonder if this city possesses a venue for chess players. Perhaps for games with… monetary gain."
"Oh what's this chess thing you speak about?"

Footsteps thud lightly behind his own, speed unable to be equaled by a small child. Drawn to light by eyes of green it continues to follow along. A path in void of residents he thread, no sight of any other man, woman, or child around. Ridding of a pest this size resembled that of swatting a mosquito, life begging to be ended as prey titanic in size acknowledged presence. Maintaining a sense of ignorance provoked difficulty rising with ever step taken. Squatting, mangled, bloodied corpse of a girl soon to be reported in for populace.
Distance between the two began to fade, what was a wide gap was now nothing more than a few feet. Scent of ‘meat’ was not quite what he had in mind. Mitsunari tore apart liars, criminals, proclaimed heroes, innocents, and the life. To him they were all the same; prey. Those that sought to forget the legacy of Lord Hideyoshi were sinners needed to be erased during his rampage back in his world. Confronting a person eager to meet gaze happened far too often. In a matter of just hearing the other speak of convictions or purity, Mitsunari could assume a certain type. It wasn’t always perfect, by no means. But the smell of a liar… that he could pick out from miles away.
Pacing came to a halt, boots dug into earth in its abrupt end. Forearm rested upon weapon, knuckles cracking in wait. A tilt of head came with the eyes of the two meeting for the first time. Curiosity soaked soaked her expression, worry of one new to the world itself seeping from its foul orbs. Yet the smell of liar remained, angelic pale skin stained with filth. “Who are you? Why do you follow me?" asked the samurai. “Answer with haste, girl. Should I not find your answer at least appealing, I will humor you. The reaper is a host known to all I’ve come across."
Thoughts began to flicker about, as she found this human to be anything but kind. She had began to doubt her choice of following him, reminiscing in that moment where she calculated incorrectly. Causing great grief to her formed personality and her last lover. She knew nothing about this man, except for his overbearing self that seemed to radiate anger. Perhaps he was just angry at the world, were humans like this?
"Reaper?" Saya's eyes flickered in shocked, what an interesting person. His personality reflected nothing that the little alien had ever encountered before. Even with the scientists help, she wondered if humans were this way too. Curiosity gnawed at her, she needed to learn more of this man, "You could say.... I've never met someone like you, thusly..."
If she could continue any form of conversation with him, she would learn. Adapt. Become something where she would be of no nuisance to him, at least so she could learn, "I wish to learn about you. I know you don't seem so happy about that choice~! Hehe. But I'll be quiet."

To be honest, Ninurta was still distraught more than the few people that were located in Hive City. It wasn’t as if he came from a different time period but he was in such a complicated position that he never believed would ever happen to him. He was already questioned his royalty, questioned of who he was and now, he had to question where he was again. A shake of his head as he felt himself begin to struggle with his agitation, the male wasn’t watching here he was going until he felt himself bump into someone.
His eyes flew open at the young female, taking a step back and he understood her manners against him. He should have watched where he was going but that was the last thing on his mine. His eyes widened before coming back down to their normal size, he would just have to apologize for what he has done. ❝I should have watched where I was going, you would have to excuse me. I had a lot on my mind, you see.❞ Usually younger kids in which he thought she was, would never understand what was placed in adult’s minds. But it would have been rude to judge so slowly kneeling down so he could be eye to eye with her.
❝It wasn’t my intention to harm you, so will you forgive me? If not, maybe there could be something I could do to gain your apology.❞ He did blame himself in a way, but he could only try his best to fix what he had done and even the female’s tone was something he had to take into consideration. She could have actually been mad at him for his actions and because of that, the possibility of not being let off easy didn’t sound so clean and pristine to his efforts.
Interaction upon interaction would not prepare her for the amount of kindness this man was showing her. Saya took in his appearance, the long ears and horns on his head had been a red flag to tell her that he was not human. Optics danced around him, as she herself slid past his gaze and hands as the other knelt down. Walking around him, such long hair, such an interesting small yet pivotal differences he was to humans.
Saya returned at once back to where she started, staring up at him with an interesting look, "No its okay, I should have paid a bit more attention myself. Might I ask what you are? You don't look human what so ever?!"
The glimmer in her eyes, reflect the line of curiosity that abundantly grew in her. As her own dying instinctual manners had changed. From the need of reproduction to the need of learning about every aspect of other living beings. Saya adapted quickly her alien intelligence rummaging about as she began to take in the other's voice, facial expressions, and whatever else he may speak.

“S-Sorry. Sorry!”
Nagisa was only trying to navigate himself around the Hive, to find anything and everything that would be of use in the near future. New setting, new people, and all that. However, with how distracted he was, the swimmer was not expecting someone to bump into him, and then blame him for what was really their fault. In actuality, he’d only apologized because of habit, and well, because it was the polite thing to do.
Hands up by his head defensively, the nervous frown upon the blond’s lips slowly arched to a grin. “But you should really be more careful,” he commented with a tense laugh. For such a short girl, she sure packed a (verbal) punch. “What’re you even doing out here this late?”
But then again, he shouldn’t be talking. He was a high school student himself, and was just as likely to be mugged as the stranger in front of him.
Saya felt suddenly embaressed, he seemed overly kind and instead of yelling at her back apologized. Being so caught up in her surroundings and happiness, she had almost forgotten her own humanistic manners. Taking into account the socialization at hand, Saya acted shy and felt that way as well, "Hmph."
Was all she would find sufficed for now. His sudden interest in her well being was another thing in itself, was this a normal occurrence to be a bit concerned with others. She took into account all the novel reading she had done, and she believed this encounter had to deal with sympathetic feelings. Shaking her head to answer to the boy she smiled, "No don't worry, I know how to take care of myself. If anyone hurt me I would hurt them! That goes for you too, but you are very nice so I'll be nice~."
The monsterette looked at the boy, taking into account the time frame and what time it was as well as his interest in her own well being. Perhaps she should offer some help, yes this was one step forward to human interactions and another to becoming similar to humans themself!
"Did you need something though?" Saya seemed proud of herself, proud that she was spending her timed well thoughts into actions. Humans were a very hard species to understand, but they were interesting.

The city streets were no surprise to this girl, though she had read about it in books. She had never been openly in a city. Walking freely to see what it was like, it intrigued her in every aspect. The cars blaring horns, the people grumbling angrily as they mind their way through the paved paths. Every bit and aspect of human kind--if she could call these people that--had been enlightening.
"Ahh!" Street lights sparkled in the evening sky, and she danced around staring at all the little things going on. People, cars, the mild wildlife that ran far away from her once they spotted her. Everything had been so beautiful, Saya was truly lucky to have been brought here. Unfortunately, she hadn't been paying much attention to her entire surroundings. As she spun about, ending up bumping into someone else.
"Hey watch where youre going!" The little well disguised girl spun around and said at once. Hair and dress fluttering about as she did so. The person before her more or less stood taller than her, as she had hit about 4'11 and wasn't all that tall. Or perhaps they were smaller than her, if that was the case you would get a very surprised Saya.
