"Cold Sunrise"

Have you ever felt amazed at something that all you could do is just take a breath and enjoy the rare and breath taking scene? Atop Luzon’s highest peak, approximately 2922 meters above sea level with temperatures as low as -5 degrees celsius (Coldest point in the Philippines), you could experience the famous Sea of Clouds of Mt. Pulag.

The climb was worth our efforts. It was also sheer luck that I got to experience this rare scene on my first climb to Mt. Pulag. Special thanks to Team MMC and Team leader Dio Dela Fuente, It was a great and fun experience hiking with you guys! Lastly, to our dear Creator for making these wonderful sceneries. This is truly a blessing for all of us.

Cant wait for my next climb!

"Entrance or exit?"

After I got off from my car, I thought of how my day went. Events flashed back for a few seconds, As I was about to go back to my senses, I saw this scene..

Silence echoes through the hallway, shadow filled the whole place as light enters through the open gate.

It was like an invitation to go somewhere, or rather an escape from the unknown. The circumstances were contrasting in some way. Hopefully, All will be well soon. Better days to come, Yes.

Taken during our journey to Papaya River in our Tarak Ridge Climb.

Our first Major climb for year 2015, it was a really tough climb for us; 60 degree assaults, limited water source, 200km/h raging winds, broken tents, slippery rocks and slopes.

A must climb for someone who seeks tough trek conditions.

"Trail View" So I said to myself why not rest for a bit take a breather and appreciate this majestic view from the trail. Taken just after the peak of sunrise time. A little over the golden hour. Got a bit late to catch the sunrise. Anyway, I can say that climbing, trekking and hiking 2,150 meters above sea level is worth it whenever you see a view like this during the hike. No words could really express how much I truly enjoyed this climb. Thank you to the whole team/group for all the happy and fun memories throughout the trip. To Sir Dio for organizing such a great climb! Will definitely climb Mount Ugo again! LLA: 16.31916°N, 120.80166°E, 2150 MASL. 42km trek distance. 16 hours trail hike. Kayapa-Itogon Traverse. Benguet, Philippines. Hoya CPL + Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 + D200. 1/25 at f11.

The island on the far end (just right in the middle of the Manila bay) of the picture is the Famous Corregidor island. The land on the other side is the province of Cavite.
