Raden is a very old decorative craft (see video below), usually used on lacquer bases with floral or traditional motifs. It’s so great to see it used this way!

Just remember not to treat fanfiction authors like they owe anyone anything(goes for people who make fanart/mods/etc. too).

Fandom works best when people go into it wanting to be a community that uplifts others, builds things together, recognizes that it's on an individual to respectfully and quietly back off when they encounter parts of the fandom they don't vibe with, and remembers that the vast majority of fandom content is made for FUN by people who just want to share a thing they love with others.

Support(or at least don't discourage) people writing fanfiction, drawing fanart, making mods, etc. even if it's stuff you don't like or plan to read/use. Having a huge variety of content for all the different kinds of fans that respectfully interact with each other and form their own mini-spaces around the little things they like(ships or headcanons) while still acting positively with the whole community is the healthiest way for fandom to be. At least in my personal experience fandoms with that mindset are the ones that last longest and end up with the most content, since everyone silently agrees to make it a space for fun and creativity rather than infighting and entitlement
